We wanted to bring mom home on hospice as this was her wish to pass in the comfort of her own home of 60 years. The caregivers and office staff were so helpful and allowed us to be with mom as family and not the caregiver. Thank you everything you do.

We are a family owed home care company with 25 years of first hand home care experience. We have several clients and employees all over the Tri-City area and we also cover the Traverse city and Cadillac area. We provide private duty home care to all ages of individuals who need any type of home care. Our goal is to make our clients feel comfortable in their own home and not feel that a nursing home or an assisted living facility is the only option for them. We to try to help as many families as we can and we are growing rapidly. There is no shift too big or too small for Great Lakes Home Care Unlimited. Our clients are encourages to increase care at any time that they see fit. There are many families that can't always be close to their loved ones to help in their times of need. That's where we come in. We are very focused on making sure that all of our clients and their families know how much we care. We do this by regularly checking in with our clients and making sure that all of their needs are being met and making sure that we go above and beyond your average home care companies by keep all line of communication open. All of our employees are hand picked to provide the highest level of care and we provide regular training's and seminars to make sure we are working as a team to maintain that level of care. Service started out great. Staff is very friendly. Been with the company about 8 months. Have had a few times when there was nobody to cover shifts. One time was told they could not find a replacement but found one after I called them and said he needed one. The last time I was not notified there would be no caregiver and dad was in his lazyboy all afternoon and night until the morning caregiver arrived. No dinner and not put to bed. Very frustrating that I was not contacted that there would be no caregiver as they know to do this. Unexceptable

The care my parents are receiving is amazing. We didn't think Mom and Dad would let someone help around the house, Now they have someone with them for 8 hours a day and love it.

It's been a big relief having the support of the staff helping with my mother. It gives me piece of mind knowing someone is there and helping Mom stay home safe and independent. The office staff is wonderful as well and make sure to keep me informed if there is a change or just calling to see how things are going. Thank you so much for your help. God Bless

I had shoulder surgery and used Great Lakes Home Care Unlimited assist me in my recovery. The caregivers are amazing and the office staff wonderful to work with. I thank them for my fast recovery.
