A friend who has worked with Comfort Keepers recommended them. I interviewed them, and we have been very happy. My mother-in-law has help coming in for a couple of days a week. That's working out for what she needs right now. I was impressed with the background check, the things they do for their workers, and the training they provide them. Their workers are very friendly and cheerful, since Mom has been dealing with depression. They've been very encouraging to her. They also tried to match a person to her. My mother-in-law is very religious and they tried to take that into account. A couple of women who came seemed to share it with her because you could tell that they are Christians. They would comment on things to her, and it made her feel comfortable. She had basically the same person for quite a while before the person left the agency. For now she has a new young girl who is very sweet and is a hard worker. If Mom asks her to do things this way, she accommodates it. Mom is actually doing better now.
