We used A Place at Home - Hot Springs, AR for my grandmother for a short time. They provided housekeeping, feeding, bathing, and things like that. Some of the caregivers were good and others were not good at all, but they did respond very quickly to our complaints about certain caregivers. Caregiving is really expensive no matter where you go. Our experience was just OK.

Our experience has been positive because I had to have carpal tunnel surgery and I need care, and they were able to get that worked out, so I had the help I needed. I have to get another surgery, and I'm supposed to have someone with me 24/7 and I called Melanie, and I said I need 6, 6-hour days paid through the VA, and they got that taken care of. It was nice I had that support from the agency. I already have. I like this agency because of the two ladies that have worked for us. They are warm, competent and they don't just sit there. They look for things that need to be done.

Being in a different state from my mom, they have been extremely helpful, and put my mind at ease. They have been flexible, and very patient in difficult situations. Melanie, Kenzie and their staff in Hot Springs have been amazing to work with, and don't know what I, or my mom, would do without them. I would highly recommend them to work with.
