Sometimes life can throw you curves you never expected! And then God comes along and provides you with "Blue Rose Legacy" to help you stay on track. My husband is on Dialysis and fell following a treatment on January 29, 2024. From there on, our days were filled with Ambulance rides, ER visits, and a Rehab Facility --- followed by more falls and hospital visits; results from an UTI this time. In the midst of all of it, I reached out to Blue Rose Legacy! I needed some help. They came to my aid with personnel who were helpful, professional and very compassionate. We are since able to manage on our own, but the phone number for Blue Rose Legacy is posted on the refrigerator if the need ever arises again.

While my father was in the hospital recovering from a fall, they tested him and found cognitive decline. He was returning home to his own apartment out of state from all his family. We contacted Blue Rose about their “welcome home” package and have used their services ever since. There is always someone that answers the phone. They know exactly what to do. After the welcome home service we continued with care, cleaning, assistance with shopping and errands, and finally Blue Rose helped organize him to downsize into a senior care facility. Their assistance with this really helped us to be able to move him quickly with minimal upset to his routine and then for us to be able to clean up the 90 years of memories he had held on to in his apartment. I can’t thank Blue Rose enough.

Our father caught COVID in July 2020 and suffered a hospital stay of 9 months as his body fought to survive. It took away his ability to be mobile and set up a long line of health difficulties for an otherwise smart, funny, upbeat guy. You can imagine the toll this has taken not just on his health, but his confidence and his feeling of worthiness to live. It has been a monumentally difficult time for my dad. That's where Blue Rose Legacy home care comes in. They reached out to us after they heard our dad's story and made their care personal. They wanted to know what he had been through and customize the service around his needs. Laura and Cathy were so kind and so open to hearing my dad out on what his needs and wishes were, putting him in the driver's seat. Their staff gives 100% each and every time -- showing up on time, providing him quality care (toilet, food, cleanse, etc.), and most of all great company. My dad is thriving. He began to take a few steps with the walker and is doing independent tasks. He laughs more and has his old humor back. I credit these individuals for pulling him out of his slump and making him want to live, really live, again. And, even with a long road ahead, I have my dad back. Blue Rose was caregivers for both of my parents. I was impressed with their quick response and turnaround time on short notice. They are a group with huge hearts, kindness, warmth, reliability. They sense the needs of the client and care for them.

We're lucky to have this group of ladies. Good meals, loving care, trips to drugstore, doctors, and shopping. I have been with this group after I was released from being in the hospital five times in 2016. What a relief!
