We toured Evergreen. The facilities and everybody were nice and informative and looked like a well-kept place. They had happy hours and activities for the residents to do. They have all the amenities.

My husband and I visited Evergreen's independent living a few weeks ago and liked it quite well. I thought it was nice, and it seemed like a lot was going on all the time. We saw one apartment. We wanted a 2-bedroom, and we liked how they just finished cleaning it up. They do that when people leave. We saw people coming in for activities, and I think a lot was going on. The staff who showed us around was very good. He was very nice and accommodating.

We have chosen Evergreen Retirement Comm for my mom. It was very bright and very thoughtfully laid out. The room we saw had a nice view. We got the exact room we wanted and the exact location that we wanted for my mom. The person who toured us was exceptional. His name is Paul, and he was made for the job. He was kind and empathetic. He knew his stuff. He helped us make a really good choice. They have three dining facilities there. We observed their performing arts area, and we interacted with people as they walked by. We observe their amenities. They're our number one choice. It's just a great follow-up with us. All of the things they needed for move-in like documentation and all of that were well laid out. Their brochures were extremely well done and had pre-empted a lot of questions that we had.

I only went into Evergreen Retirement Community once, and I think it's beautiful. I think they are very full -- they only have three empty rooms. They were really nice people. They have wonderful food, they have three restaurants, and they have chefs. I've only met one lady. They have a big plaque that shows how long people have worked there, and it's for years. They must be very competent. I am moving there in two weeks. I didn't try the food; I just saw the menu, and everybody seemed to be very pleased with it. The room that I saw was very little; they only have two left.
