"I've been here at Sharon Care Center for almost a year now and it's acceptable, that's as far as it goes. Everybody complains about the food but that's nothing new. The staff is very good. I have a studio, but there are also 1-bedroom apartments available. Everything works fine, and when something breaks they come around and fix it. The staff members know what to do so I don't have any complaints. Their dining area is okay, and when it comes to the food, I'm not fond of their pizza, but breakfast is the best. You can order whatever you want for breakfast from a menu. They have a courtyard in the center of the building. It's in a residential area so you can go out for a walk on the sidewalks. They have a bus and there's an activities director who will take you on outings and shopping, or to the casino if you want to go there. In terms of value for the money, it costs $4000 a month."

"I had an in-person tour of Clark's Country Haven Adult Family Home. I like the country setting and the layout of the house. The staff was very courteous and informative. They offer food and assistance. They have a large patio. It's just a small house. I saw one resident, and he was just lying in bed and was very quiet. They have a table and a living room with a large TV that everyone can sit on. They have shared rooms, and I thought they were fairly small. It was roomy enough for a person in a wheelchair to get around. The living room was large. The dining room was kind of a combined open area. The bathrooms were large. They have lots of parking space. It looked very well landscaped."

"My mother was living independently when she caught COVID at the age of 97. She never fully recovered from that event, and when her care went beyond our abilities to keep her comfortable in our home, we looked for other options. We could not have chosen more wisely. It was on the referral of a friend that we interviewed this adult family home, and it was impressive from the start. Her room was beautifully appointed, with lots of natural light. The home itself is warm and welcoming. But it was the family who cared for her that was the best. They were friendly and compassionate, and their home and her room always smelled of fresh air or sometimes of the delicious home cooked food coming from the kitchen. My mother was bedridden for over two years before passing quietly a few weeks ago, and in all that time, not once did she have even the beginnings of a bedsore. If she ever had so much as a scratch on her little finger, the owner would call me to let me know. Her every need was attended to, and she said that she felt safe and comfortable. I felt I could trust in their care of my mother explicitly. The price of her care was very reasonable for the quality provided. We should all be so lucky as to be cared for in our end days by a home such as Canterwood Estates."

"My mom was at Lidia's Adult Family Home. She was very sick there and they helped her. They are just wonderful. I couldn't have asked for more. My mom ended up living four more years and was treated like a family member. They had just a small community of patients. I don't know the limit, maybe six or so. They have a beautiful yard. This place didn't smell like anything. It didn't smell like cleaning fluid or urine. It was just a clean, functioning home. They were so kind to my mom and so diligent in taking care of her. They were just on it. She probably had a bladder infection for a long time. She ended up living there and died in her sleep peacefully and I just couldn't have asked for better people and a better place. The day that I toured the place, I noticed they were making some old fashioned soup, homemade from scratch. I noticed on the counter they were lying about packages. I noticed a particularly big package of organic asparagus. It said right on the front, organic asparagus, so I know they cooked. Every day they make sure that their patients get a glass of juice and anything they drink. Even when I would bring my mom espressos, they put this special thickener in it to make it more viscous so they can't choke. My mom never liked TV, so she never just sat in front of a TV. She sat in front of the window. They got a hummingbird feeder because she adored hummingbirds and they kept it full. I talked to her on the phone. You can imagine the rigmarole that a staff member goes through to open the little flip phone when they hear it ringing and get it up to her ear, and then sort out the consequences of her pushing the buttons because she doesn't know or whatever. They just stood by that process. I called her twice a day for years, and they kept the phone charged. That was her connection to the world and they just made sure it happened. They have a really comfortable living room with lounging things, and they will live in front of a TV if they want. There's a big screen TV. There was a big screen TV and Mom's room too, but she never liked television. Then they have sliding doors that go out to a deck in the back, a little covered porch, and patio. They have a beautiful little garden in the back with fruit trees and flowers and little push waves that you can go to back there. They were just a typical price and worth every penny, because they just looked after her. It was worth every cent. They watched her constantly. They have the facilities, their bathrooms are set up so that she had to live in a wheelchair for a long time, but she never got bedsores. She never got a rash. She never got anything because those people were just on it. She had a special bed that vibrated and had one of those little eggshell things, and they kept her clean. She was always spotless and she never got bedsores."

"We chose Panorama mainly because of its continuum of care. They have onsite an assisted living facility and retirement apartments. They have a full nursing home, and they have a million activities. I would enjoy walking on the western trail. I would enjoy games, and there are lots of different organization and clubs. It is just wonderful. As for the food, it was very healthy with a lot of salads and a wonderful menu. The one that I selected is a two bedroom duplex with a beautiful interior. "

"Nisqually Valley Care Center is an older building that has been remodeled. They have very good caring staff, the food is very good, and the rooms are very clean. "

They are very good at watching and monitoring the residents and making sure that they are OK in all aspects. The food is excellent and the staff is so nice. "This facility is well kept with with lots of plant life and garden areas surrounding the living quarters. Residents live in two different areas, one main building and a second building across the street. Residents in both areas can meet and in large areas to socialize or watch TV. Individual rooms are very adequate and individualized care is provided for as needed. Despite the age of the building, the interior is modern and very well up kept. The location of this facility is ideal. It is close to town and on a main bus line. There is also a more independent retirement community down the road where many spouses and friends live. Roo-Lan also has a shuttle service that provides the more mobile residents with transportation to stores, church, and other activities. The nurses and activities directors keep the residents entertained and stimulated with personalized care and attention that is desired from a nursing home. "

"My mom is at Bethany Adult Family Home. The staff working there is awesome. The security is good, and they get her medications correct. They are very patient to feed her because she can only have food from a blender. The rooms are fine. My mom is bedridden, so they basically bathe them, cut their hair, and feed them. The food is excellent. They have all home cooked food, and it is delicious. As for security, it is excellent. "

"My wife has moved into A1 Adult Family Home LLC. She has been there for two weeks now. It is a small home with a limited number of people, so she gets more attention. During the tour, the people were very committed to what they do. We thought it was a great atmosphere, and she is getting good care. I see my wife every day. I like the individual attention that she gets and the concern that the attendants have for their clients. The attention that they give her is very adequate. They had to learn a few things because my wife requires intensive care, and they're willing to learn and do all the things they need to do there. There was a little bit of a learning curve, but they were very willing to do what they needed to do to learn everything. The food is good. It is nutritious and has a reasonable variety. The place is also easy to navigate and has easy access to things. They have a nice living room for people to gather if they want to gather. I like the layout."
