I like the spaciousness of the great room area at Oakwood Haven. What I really like the most is there are two people on staff during the day every day and that really meant a lot to me. The dining area is very nice and it looked like they had a very nice, healthy, hand-made meal. The interaction between patients and staff seemed very good. Another thing I really liked about it that was different from any other homes I visited was their restroom facilities' shower didn't have any kind of ridge or edge that the patients would have to get out of their wheelchair and step over to get into the shower. They'd have assistance regardless but in this case they could actually wheel the wheelchair right into the shower which was very nice. The staff was very helpful.
