My Mom and Dad were the first residents of The Ridge when it opened in December 2016. Dad has since passed away, but Mom is enjoying it there. She always talks about how delicious the food is! Family members have eaten there, too, and we all have liked the food. I'm impressed that nearly all of the staff know her name and always greet her. They are courteous and helpful with any requests. The rooms are cleaned regularly and the common areas are always clean and well maintained. Mom says she is very happy to be there, which means everything to us!

I would like to move into The Ridge Foothill. I liked the openness of it. I liked the activity in the lower lobby and the dining room. I liked the cleanliness of it, and I liked the size of the rooms and the bathrooms, and the amenities. The person who took me around the place was very knowledgeable. I looked at the servings on their plate. I looked at their afternoon ice cream parlor time. They just had a lot of stuff going on. The only thing I can say is that it was a little bit awkward getting in and out of the parking area because Foothill Drive was so busy.

The tour I had at The Ridge Foothill was excellent. They gave us all the information we needed. They showed us everything that they had at the apartment, where they'd be eating, and the physical therapist area. They show movies, do arts, and everything that you'll be needing there. The staff was nice. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The place was very, very, very clean and beautiful. It was nice and elegant, but it was just a little too big for my mother-in-law.

I toured The Ridge Foothill. I liked the view looking out over the valley. I wasn't nearly as impressed with it as I was with the other one. I liked that it was closer into town so that it would have been easier to get to. But as far as the amenities, the people, and the rooms, everything was much, much less than at the other community. They had a fairly nice patio. You could go out there and barbecue and have a party. It had lots of tables and chairs. Their parking was not so good. They had underground parking, so that was OK. I just didn't like it as well as I liked the other one.

I've toured The Ridge Foothill and I liked everything about it. It was a great facility and the tour was very nice. The staff was good and they had amenities and all that. I like what they offer and what they have and I'd give them a good rating. It just didn't feel like the right place for us. They all have the high-end stuff, they have an exercise room and activity coordinator, and the food's good there from what I heard. I only met the lady that's in charge of the tours and she was really good. Just like all the places I've toured, it's very clean and well-maintained and I was impressed with that. It's right next to a Walmart across the street and there are two hospitals within five miles of it.

I thought The Ridge Foothill was beautiful. It looked very clean. The people that were in the memory care area seemed to be bonded with the people that were caring for them, and they seemed happy. It was just lovely. The floor plan seemed lovely. I think everything that they needed was right there. They had a room where they could gather. Some people were working individually on projects, and they had an activities director that would set up activities for them.

We've made a deposit at The Ridge Foothill for my mom. Their sales director gave us a tour of the place, and he was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. The 1-bedroom apartment we chose has a refrigerator and a microwave, but we have to bring in our own furniture. There was no stove provided because they serve 3 meals a day. One of the good features that I like was that they serve breakfast all day. The facility looked spotless coming in. They had a nice big patio with views of the valley. There was also a big outdoor area with barbecues and fire pits and lawn furniture.

My mom is going to move into The Ridge Foothill. She will be in the memory care behind locked doors, but since it's so big, she's not going to know she's behind locked doors. She's going to have activities all the time instead of just sitting in a room doing nothing every day. They were dancing in chairs, they had lots of music programs, and they had flower arrangement activities. It's amazing. They're going to keep her dignity as long as possible. The memory care unit is very secure. Everywhere I looked, there was always help somewhere. It was fantastic. The rooms were perfect. They're not too small, and they're not too big. They're just absolutely perfect with spectacular views. Everything was so wonderful. It was beautiful and immaculate. The staff that I've met with has been fabulous.

The Ridge Foothill has a great view, great open space, and open plan, but I think the size was the biggest downfall for me. The difference in price was something that could be do-able though, but I just didn't feel like it was something that my mom would like. The young man who took us on the tour was great. He was very warm and nice. I met some of the residents and they were just wonderful people. They had everything from a salon, a happy hour bar, exercise rooms, places where they had little mini concerts, to a super nice library. It was great.

The Ridge Foothill is a beautiful location. We visited assisted living and they were having a barbecue when we were there. They have a happy hour. I think it's a very lively, lively place.

The Ridge Foothill is like a high-tech, modern high-rise. It's very nice, and the man who met us was prepared, very nice, very kind, and very, very pleasant to work with. Everything is so modern and sleek, and they have so much technology that it takes personal care out of the realm. Everybody just stands around looking at each other. It's too corporate looking for me, and there's no personalization. We looked at the memory care and most of the assisted living because they kind of intermingle. When we went in, there were like five people who were all just within a very tight area of two or three feet, and this is COVID territory. We had to step up to this machine to get our temperature taken, but why do you have five people there and then rely on a machine? They could have just walked out with a thermometer and checked my forehead -- that would have been much easier than it was to get me to look into the camera. That's what I mean by "way too high tech." Nobody older than I am knows how to do that stuff, but I really liked the man we made an appointment with. Once he came and took us away from that crowded front desk, he was so helpful.

I visited The Ridge Foothill two times, and I was very impressed with everything. They showed me a room for both assisted and memory care, and I thought they did a very good job of going through everything with me. I like the community, so we have decided that is where my mom will be moving in. They have a refrigerator, a microwave, and kitchen cabinets on the sink. The person who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, too.

The Ridge Foothill was very clean, very high-class, and was on the higher end of our budget. The initial staff we met when we entered wasn't very social or accommodating, but the staff member who took us on the tour was very good. The have a chapel, and they have a board posted with many activities, including technology and woodworking. We didn't see any of those activities happening because we came at meal time.

The Ridge Foothill was nice and conveniently located, but the parking was kind of hard to get in and out of. The rooms were a little bit smaller and none of them had very good views.

The Ridge Foothill was the best one. It's more modern, very clean, and you have various places to dine, whether sitting at a table with a bunch of people or sitting at a bar. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath we saw was very nice, but expensive (about $6,000 a month), and there was an additional cost for an extra person.

I was there for a month while rehabing after foot surgery because I was confined to a wheelchair. The facility looks like a 5 star hotel. The staff is supportive and always has a greeting and a smile for residents. The restaurant has an incredible view overlooking the valley and the food is wonderful. They have great chefs. There is always activities availabe for everyone to participate in both in house and special outings. There is an exercise room, demonstration kitchen, gameroom, beauty salon, art room, theater, and large meeting room. Everything is designed for resident comfort and safety in the well thought out building. I hated to leave when I was able to walk with a walker. It is a great place to live.

Having reviewed several senior living centers I found TheRidge to be far superior in its level of caregiving thought to design detail, activities offered and food quality. My mother is very happy and content. The Ridge goes "above and beyond" to offer a relaxed and caring atmosphere.

I moved in last June to The Ridge. The place is very clean and nice. The staff is very nice and outstanding. The food is good. I'm having problems with miscommunication with them taking me to doctor's appointments because sometimes there's a ride and sometimes there's not. The place is very organized, and there are a lot of activities. They seem to really care about the people staying here. The price seems a little high to me.

The Ridge was a really nice looking place. They seemed really professional, but they didn’t have a lot of activities, and it seemed like they were more interested in making the sale, but they were really nice people. I saw a couple of residents up and about, but I didn’t see any other residents there. The rooms were pretty large, and you bring in your own furniture. The place was well maintained, and the grounds were beautiful.

My dad is in The Ridge. It was brand new, really close to my brother and sister, big, light, and spacious. They had wonderful food, and we were impressed. The apartments were beautiful with granite countertops, large showers, and very nice carpet. The staff so far has been very nice, and they call me to let me know how dad's doing. They took care of his laundry. They had an activities director, and the security was very good.
