"I like it here at Lotus Park. It is a good place to live. I love the country setting. The back patio is very tranquil and I enjoy the flower and vegetable gardens that the residents are able take care of. Lotus Park has great food and a very caring staff. I enjoy the friendships I have made here. I am part of the welcoming committee here and like meeting the new people who move in. Whenever the residents have suggestions on activities or outings they would like to do, the staff does their best to accommodate them to make it happen. Overall, I really enjoy living at Lotus Park. "

"We toured Creekside Senior Living twice for my parents. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly, and the gentlemen who gave us both tours were fabulous. We were very, very happy. They had movies, gym, and activities outside in the courtyard. Once Covid is over, they will have a lot of other activities. It was very impressive."

"We chose Legacy House of Bountiful for my dad because it had a good staff, clean atmosphere, lots of activities for seniors, decent food, and was close to my brothers and sisters. They had musical people come and perform, bingo, movie night, and a lot of different things going on."

"The Lodge at North Ogden is very new. The room that my in-laws have is large, so that helps our decision. It's a two-bedroom. The beds sit nicely. There are two single beds. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. We have tried the food three times, and the food is very good. There are ample amounts for the seniors. The dining area is spacious and beautifully arranged. They've also got a pool table, a shuffleboard table, a theater, and extra dining rooms for friends and family to borrow. They have a salon on site and there are three pianos, which I like because my mother-in-law plays the piano. Everything seems to be in working order and good condition. The place is very clean. It's a good value. We chose them because of the value of the room and the size of the room, which is over 1200 square feet for a two-bedroom. As for activities, my in-laws have already participated in bingo. Activities seem to be good."

"Quail Meadow was a very nice, clean, new community with nice facilities. I felt like it was very religious, and I don't want my mom to be in an environment where there won't be any diversity. The staff seemed attentive and very good."

"My Father-in-Law lived at Seasons for a year and five months. The staff is wonderful! They were all so loving & attentive with him and they were so quick to take card of anything that he (or we) needed. The facility is well kept, very clean & feels like a real home. They have several activities for the residents to participate in daily, but they don't ever force residents to participate if they don't want to. We loved that it is a smaller facility so the residents get more one on one care & more attention than they would in a larger facility. We truly appreciate the care & love they showed to our dad. We continue to go visit there even though our dad has passed on, because we were able to become friends with so many of the residents & staff there. It is truly a wonderful place & we couldn't be more grateful for them in our time of need! "

"I have occasion to visit many assisted living facilities throughout Utah since my family all works within the health care system. My Aunt and cousin work in many assisted living facilities and my church group also holds a church meeting for the elderly at several local assisted living facilities, so I know what I am talking about when it comes to whether or not assisted living facilities are worth sending your loved ones to. I choose to only review those that I found to be upstanding, so I chose to review the facility known as the Brighton Gardens of SLC since I was so impressed with the staff and the grounds. The usual problems that people complain about when entering a home of this kind were nowhere to be found. One woman wandered from her room (an alzheimer's patient) and was spotted immediately and returned to safety. This staff was on point, meaning they knew who and what was going on at all times. The treats and food were exeptional and the rooms were spacious, especially for the price. The only complaint I would have about this assisted living facility is that it needs more grounds. Being in Salt Lake City it does not have the acres of land some of the other Utah facilities have for parks and walk areas, though this home still had beautiful gardens and paths for the residents. Definitely would consider sending my loved ones to live at this facility. "

"It was fine, but I didn't care for the location. I saw a studio and a one-bedroom. They had a nice library room and a really nice community gathering room for hosting small social functions and church services on Sunday. The staff was very open and friendly."

"Legacy Village of Sugar House is very large. You use the elevator to go to your room and to get down to the dining area. It is too big for someone who has mobility problems (like my husband). He uses a walker but he can't walk far at all, so it is not good for him. The staff member who assisted us with the tour was very pleasant and very informative. The room was pleasant too. There seemed to be a lot of things going on. It is like a fancy hotel when you walk in, which may appeal to some people a great deal."

"My father is already in The Gables of Brigham City Assisted Living. They're a very clean place and they're one of our first choices. I'd rather go there than I would any of the other places available in Brigham, they're good people there. What I like about the whole thing is that the staff is very responsive. There are only 22 rooms in this place, as opposed to a hospital setting where they could get understaffed. I think they're just responsive to the needs and they've been really good. I have not tasted the food, but he has said that for the most part, it's good. There have been things that he doesn't like occasionally, but he doesn't complain about it at all so it's been good. The maintenance of the facility is fine. The only question I have is that he likes his window view, looking out to the West and the sunset, but the windows have been dirty and they've never had anybody come and clean them. So I think it's because of the help with the people they contract out, is what I've heard. But that's a minor complaint compared to the care he's been given. He has done a lot of the activities, he's gone on their bus trips, and he seems to enjoy what they offer. I think the value for money is quite reasonable compared to other places."

"I'm living in a senior home right now that I'm very pleased with. I'm at BeeHive Homes of Layton. My experience at this home is very good. The meals that they prepare are exceptional. The staff is very attentive and phenomenal. They follow the leadership of the manager by providing what it is that we need. They're the ones that ensure that we get meals on time and so forth. My apartment is probably 700 square feet, and I have a shower in my room. I believe I'm the only one that has a shower; everyone else uses the community shower. The dining area is professional. They have chairs all set up around the table, so we can sit down and eat. They have an activities person that comes in three to five days a week minimum and conducts activities like bingo, and we had a carnival not too long ago. She just does every type of activity that is beneficial that keeps us moving, so that, as elderly people, our muscles don't freeze up and stuff like that. I've been here for the last three months."

"My mother is in Pheasant View Assisted Living. It is small with only 21 rooms. The staff seems very well educated and very friendly. The place is very clean. From where I and my brother live, it is easy to get to. My mother needs a lot of doctoring, and they transport her in their van to and from her medical appointments. She has television and a telephone line in her room that we can call her on and she can call us. They have a nice sitting room for the whole congregation and a dining room where they serve meals every day. It has a great big fireplace on one side and couches in a half circle around it. Her room has its own little freezer where she can keep a few snacks. She really likes it. She tells us every time we see her how much she likes it there. "

"We found Sunridge Assisted Living of Layton for our parents. The bedrooms were a fairly good size and it was not too big, but it had a good feeling. It was kind of in the middle, just a nice size, nice feeling, and nice people. The staff was absolutely wonderful and kind, and he was a really good representation of the people there. It was very clean. They had a little outside area that's set up for people to go and sit outside. They had some playground equipment and a little putting green if grandkids come or whatever. They had a couple of rooms with activities. They had a little fitness room and laundry."

"Apple Tree is really nice. It was clean, and the staff is very nice. The care is great. The people who are in there seem very happy. We actually have a singing group that performs there quite regularly so we are very familiar with that facility. The people have a good a rapport with one another. They seem very happy, well taken care of, and seem to enjoy what they have going on there. They have good rooms. There are three different sizes of room availability. It is bright and has nice white halls. It is very nice, and I'm very pleased with it. "
