Assisted Living Communities in Roy, UT

"I toured The Auberge at North Ogden. The residents were associated with each other a lot, and their activities were much better than most of the other places. They gave us a lot of interesting options and they worked with us to try and get a reasonable price. The rooms were adequate. The upkeep of the place seemed good. They're undergoing some reconstruction, but that's understandable. What I liked the most was the staff and the way they treated the residents. Outside, they have a patio, and they have some geese there."

"The Lodge at North Ogden is very new. The room that my in-laws have is large, so that helps our decision. It's a two-bedroom. The beds sit nicely. There are two single beds. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. We have tried the food three times, and the food is very good. There are ample amounts for the seniors. The dining area is spacious and beautifully arranged. They've also got a pool table, a shuffleboard table, a theater, and extra dining rooms for friends and family to borrow. They have a salon on site and there are three pianos, which I like because my mother-in-law plays the piano. Everything seems to be in working order and good condition. The place is very clean. It's a good value. We chose them because of the value of the room and the size of the room, which is over 1200 square feet for a two-bedroom. As for activities, my in-laws have already participated in bingo. Activities seem to be good."

"The care provided by Quail Meadows has been exceptional! The entire team provides loving and corellated care so every need is met! The staff is friendly, warm, and goes above and beyond to make sure their residents are safe, feel heard, and are loved! Drew the administrator has been extremely supportive and has been there every step of the way! I cannot say enough good about this place!!"

"I toured Legacy House of Park Lane. It was clean. They were very friendly. They knew all the people. It's a little nicer than the other facility. The staff was very friendly. They were prompt. The food was excellent. Some of the views of the room weren't as good as the one you looked at in an alley, but the other three sides were pretty."

"We visited Creekside Senior Living in Bountiful for my daughter-in-law's mother, and she will be moving into their assisted living. It's very classy, very well cared for, and very open and spacious. The staff is also incredibly friendly. The activities that I have observed personally as we were interacting and moving some things a couple of days ago were card playing, people just visiting, and ping-pong. They have all kinds of things, like the reading room they have, and everyone seemed to be very happy. We met random people in the halls, and they were friendly. It just seems like a really nice place. I haven't tasted the food myself, but it smells wonderful, and the dining room is very spacious. Everyone seems to be very satisfied, so I would rate the entire facility very highly. The location is also very lovely because it's very secluded, with lots of trees, and just kind of a nice little quiet neighborhood in Bountiful."

"My mom will be moving into Legacy House of Bountiful. We chose it because she wanted a wider variety of food and a different atmosphere. She likes that it's a bit smaller without being too small, and she felt treated so well when she was on her tour. She felt like they listened to her concerns. Their property is gorgeous. The inside, the rooms, the fish tanks, and the common areas were just gorgeous and very classy. They offer a wide variety of food and times that you can get the food, and I like that their mail delivery is more private. She liked the variety of room sizes. They weren't all cookie-cutter. They've got super friendly staff. It's a very lovely facility. They let the people who are there vote and do add-ons to their menu. They're big on letting the residents have a choice of favorites to make sure that they're meeting their needs."

"I visited The Gables of Brigham City Assisted Living. They were very kind and very informative. The facility itself was very clean and very well organized. The residents we saw were very happy to be there. The staff who assisted me was very friendly. The room was nice and very easy. The kitchen area, the dining area, the game room, and the activity room were all very nice. Their food was good. It was very clean, modern, and very well presented. It was very nice."

"I was quite impressed with Capitol Hill Senior Living. It was very nice. Jason was very helpful. He explained everything. He took me on a tour of the entire facility. It was quite lovely. I was impressed with both the memory care and the assisted living part. They showed me everything. They showed me all the activities, the beauty shop, the dining room, and the music room. The rooms were private."

"My dad will be moving in at Sunridge Assisted Living of Roy in December. We thought that the people that run it were very professional and very, very nice. We thought the facility was very clean. And we just really liked the services that they offered. We saw that they had extracurricular things. They bring music in and they have games for the residents. They have crafts and other extracurricular things for them to do. We liked the rooms. We picked a studio for our dad first because they didn't have any 1-bedrooms available. But he's on the list and as soon as they have a one-bedroom available, we'll move him to a 1-bedroom."

"I went to Country Pines. Everything was okay. I had no complaints. Everything was good. It was clean and well-organized. The staff was pleasant, informative, and helpful. I have nothing negative to say about it. The units were good. I think the only thing that I would say was bad is because their independent living was more or less in units that were away from the building, which is kind of a lot of people probably would rather have the independent living, and not have anybody bothering them."

"I have always thought that this facility was great. The staff seems friendly and helpful, and always goes out of their way to assist the residents. At the other care center we considered for my grandfather, the staff really seemed like they didn't care about the residents and generally came off as mean and thoughtless. Not the case here! My grandfather hasn't had a single complaint about the facility or staff and says that he enjoys it there very much. The activities and food provided for the residents are also top notch. My family and I have never had any problems going to visit him. Everything seems clean at Stoney Brook, they really run a tight ship. If my grandmother or another relative or friend in the area had need of an assisted care facility, I would definitely recommend this one. "

"The staff was friendly but most important Were so knowledgeable and able to answer my questions. I was encouraged to ask more questions and they are always willing to time out of their days to make sure we are communicated with."

"Mom is at BeeHive Homes of Syracuse, Utah. I like that they have fewer residents so there's more staff per resident. Nobody's in a shared room (unless they're married). I haven't had any problems with the staff. They are very informative and they know what's going on. Mom participates in whatever they do in the daytime. They do activities like taking them for rides out to places and do things with them. They have open spaces, a library-type activity room, and a backyard that they can go into that's fenced."

"This is a nice facility. The area itself is a little questionable, but I've never heard of anything happening at this facility so I'm sure it's all right. When I visited, the staff seemed a little rushed, maybe a little stressed. But that did not stop at least one of them from helping a gentleman down the hall when he needed help, or for greeting a family of guests with smiles and questions when they came to visit their father and grandfather. These things, more than facility beauty and location make facilities wonderful and the residents feel loved. "
