Lance was very helpful. He and his team help the transition back to home become so much easier. He went above and beyond and provided my husband and I with excellent service and care. He personally made sure that all of his home needs were met and delivered quality care. All of the nurses and staff were excellent, always concerned for his well being.

My father recuperated at ThatcherBrook for nearly 4 weeks after his hip replacement surgery after a fall. They took great care of my dad. They monitored him consistently and even moved him closer to the nurse station because he wouldn't stay in bed. The rehabilitation was excellent. The staff were professional. I would not hesitate to bring my dad back here.

Best facility experience we have had. We have been to a few other facilities for my parents and all are pretty ran down. Thatcher is doing many updates and staff is great. They have touch lamps, power recliners, clocks with large numbers that my parents can tell time with. Was also super impressed that they have pool therapy in house. Very helpful for my fathers gait training.

My sister and I placed our mother in Thatcher Brook so she could get her strength back after coming down with pneumonia. Our mom wasn't happy about it but as the days went on and she started to get better she didn't want to leave. Our mom loved the room, it was clean, spacious, bright, and had a big window to look out at. Our mother is somewhat of a picky eater. She loved each meal that was served to her; breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Her favorite was the desserts and said she is going to miss the food and desserts the most because everything is made from scratch. Mom had very little strength going to the gym with the physical therapist and at first, was a challenge. Ryan her physical therapist understood and instead brought the equipment to our mom's room and even allowed her to watch her favorite shows on TV while she worked out. As she got stronger she worked her way up to the gym and Ryan still went over and above by putting her favorite shows on while she worked out! Her occupational therapist Natalie was great to work with as well and got mom stronger to go back to her home. The CNAs and nurses were amazing and there was never a time our mother was disrespected but always treated like a RockStar. They always came in with a different activity to do and would also give out crossword puzzles or reading material. Last but not least a huge shout-out to the administration especially Aaron! When our mother arrived we were greeted and warmly welcomed as if we were in someone's home. Aaron listened to our concerns and what our challenges were and never missed a beat to help us! He was always a phone call or a text message away and always returned our calls in a timely manner! Aaron went over and beyond the call of duty and Thatcher Brook is lucky to have him! Hands down the best facility our mother has been in! Thank you Thatcher Brook for taking good care of our mother.

I have a relative staying in this facility recovering from surgery. We come to visit ever other day and it is always stinky. The smell hits ya as soon as you walk in the front door. The nurses aides seem very untrained and most of them are not physically able to do their jobs. They left my sister hanging in a hoyer lift for nearly an hour while waiting for clean sheets. They left her sitting on a dirty bed pan multiple times and a few times for over an hour and never bothered to check on her until a family member called the facility. She has multiple allergies and it is documented on her chart but the kitchen still manages to mess up nearly every meal. That is if they actually remember to take her a meal, they have missed several. While visiting with my sister I have met several other patients who have similar experiences and complaints about this facility. The care given in this facility is awful. If it were up to me I would move my sister out of here and take her to a better more professional facility. The director of nursing, is very rude to the patients & their families. She tries to act like she runs the place. The only good thing about this facility is the transport driver. He was very nice to my sister and made her comfortable on the long drive.
Thankful Patient

BOTH my wife's grandmother and mother have been served extremely well by this facility. The staff and management all really appear to care about the patients and try to help make a difficult recovery easier. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the physical therapy is excellent and extremely helpful on the road to recovery. The good CNAs, nurses, and physical therapists showed they cared by the way they treated our family members with love and respect, which was by far the most important thing to my extended family. You want to know that someone cares for your loved one's almost as much as you do. Also, my wife's grandmother and mother are both excellent cooks, so they really appreciated the good food that was provided on a daily basis. THANK YOU Thatcher Brook!

My mother stayed at Thatcher Brook Rehabilitation Care Center for rehab. It's an excellent facility. I would highly recommend them. They had an outdoor area, clean rooms, and really great staff. The food was good. She went to speech therapy and physical therapy every day except Sunday.

There was great, large varieties of dishes. At first I thought I was dining at a five star restaurant. The staff was very kind and informative. The Dr. was able to keep me informed of my condition and very informative. The nursing staff was like angels. Always there when I needed them. Their loving , caring and gentle touch was felt through out my stay. And the Aids were the best of the best. Not one time did I ever want or need something that they were right there for me. Their therapist always showed the importance and need for therapy. Thank you Thacher brook.

My husband went there after hip surgery. He was suffering from Parkinson's Disease and also Dementia. He was treated terrible. One morning I went to see him and he was lying on his bed as high as it would go, his oxygen was taken off him, he only had on a diaper and the heat was turned off (it was 26 degrees outside). He was prone to trying to get out of bed, His door was shut. All they said was that they were sorry. I spent a lot of time with him while he was there. They would call me in at night and expected me to stay with him all night, because they said "they were unable to take care of him". I did it a couple of nights until my children said "no more, that is what they are getting good money for." They never offered him water.....he only got it when I was there. He was unable to ask for himself. Later, when he got to a permanent nursing home he was in kidney failure do to being dehydrated. He lost a lot of weight also while being there, as he was unable to feed himself. I believe he only got fed when I was there. They relied upon alarms to let them know he was trying to get out of his wheel chair or bed, but didn't actually check on him. They kept him so doped up that he was rarely conscious. They sent him to his doctor in only a shirt and pants on a cold 20 degree day in the winter. Luckily the van driver, who was very nice, kept the van running to keep him warn when he got back in. I also talked to other people who have had this same experience, especially with patients who have dementia. I would actually rate this terrible place as a "no star", it was that bad. The only thing going was the cleanliness. The food was nothing to brag about either. They served him a pork chop one day that was tougher than leather. They never took him to any activities, I didn't know they had any. This is not a place for anyone who has dementia or any other depilatory problem. I would never send another loved one of mine there.

My grandpa is currently staying at this facility and they have been amazing. He gets constant attention from the staff and gets two hours of rehab every day. He says that the food is really good and that he is enjoying his rehab process. He had a quintuple bypass heart surgery and required a lot of care. The staff is doing a great job taking care of him and making sure that all of his needs are met. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a rehabilitation or care center.

Our experience at Thatcher Brook was horrific. My mother was in this facility for 20 days and she almost died. One of the scariest incidents that occurred was one evening while I was there, my mom could not breath. She was desperately trying to take breaths as tears ran down her face. She said to me "The nurses do not believe me". She has congestive heart failure and her lungs were filling with water. I ran out to the front desk desperate to find someone to help her and give her Lasix medication. The CNA came in and sat her up straighter in her bed and checked her oxygen and said it was okay but that she would get the nurse. At least an hour and a half later the nurse came in and told me the same thing the CNA did. That her oxygen was normal. I explained to her that this is a pattern, her oxygen always seems normal but if they x-rayed her her lungs they would see that her lungs were filling with water. I told the nurse she would need to call the Dr. I asked her to call "Her" Doctor not the Doctor on staff because he knew her history. Finally hours later they did get ahold of "Her" Doctor and was given instructions to give my mom Lasix medication twice a day for 5 days. They gave her 1 dose I stayed until I felt she would be okay. I am not sure what they were planning to do that night. Were they just going to let her suffocate? The next morning my sister went to stay with mom and found out that the day staff nurses had no idea what went on the night before. Nor had they given my mom the prescribed medication "Lasix". How does that even happen???? They informed my sister that they don't call Doctors at night. What??? There is most certainly a disconnect with the day staff and the night. This scary, incompetent behavior happened over and over again. They have a total disregard for human life. This was just one of our wonderful experiences with this facility

My wife was in Thatcher Brook rehab for two months. They were good. She was in a private room, which was nice sized. The dining room was fine too. She went to rehab twice a day. Everybody was friendly, and they did a good job. They got her back on her feet.
