My brother moved in. He's there for assisted living. We chose it for him because I knew the atmosphere over there was something that he would be more comfortable in. The staff there was also just so amazing. The room he's in is a studio apartment, and it's quite big compared to the one I saw over at the other facility we looked at. He's happy and they're taking good care of him. They've all been wonderful. They take the residents out every Wednesday to Walmart, HEB, or Target. They have bingo quite often, and apparently, they also have a gym, but I haven't seen it. The food is amazing. I've actually eaten in their dining room one time. They have the big dining room, and then they have a smaller one up where my brother eats. They have three meals a day and snacks whenever they want them. I know they said that on Thursday or Friday nights, they also have a gathering where people can get together and just visit with each other. It's just a nice place. The residents can even have their dogs if they want, and they have a dog park. The facility is very clean, and there are no smells, which is one of the first things I noticed coming in.

I toured. They offered anything I needed. The woman I met was very helpful. I was able to taste the food. I was able to visit the rooms, and it was nice and pretty well.

It was a very nice community for my mom, but she didn’t like the idea of the rooms not having a full kitchen. The rooms only had kitchenettes. We had a good lunch while we were there. The place was smaller. The woman who toured us explained the activities and showed us the activity calendar and the activity room. The staff greeted us and were all very nice and very friendly.
