I didn't know what to expect when I visited this place, as it's in a older neighborhood here in San Antonio, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is very clean and sanitary, and the residents were upbeat and happy. My mom was looking for a place with a private room, but unfortunately they have a waiting list, which I can understand. One thing I did not like was that there is no security guard on the premises, and I would just feel better if there was. Also there were not a lot of amenities like found in a upper level home, but it was quite affordable.

The administration of The Sarah Roberts French Home was great. They kept me informed a lot. The nurses were nice, but the main nurse was horrible. They told me they could handle my mom, but apparently, they could not. That nurse was already wanting to kick her out, not even within a week. Other than that the home was very clean.
