We were very pleased with Park Place because it’s a rather small unit. I knew people who lived there and have loved it. It was a little lower financially and smaller. They were very helpful, and they had activities there too. The ones that we looked at were like studios, one was furnished and the other was empty, but they were very clean and quite pleasant.

My Mother lived the last 5 years of her life at Park Place. There could have been no better place for Jean; she loved the staff and they loved her. She battled COPD a broken hip and a broken pelvis while living there. Park Place to car of my Mother as one of their own family, I call Park Place, the Mansion On the Hill.

Regretfully when two facilities are called similar names, it is easy for someone to post a comment on the wrong facility. Previous post by Anonymous321 is a prime example. Anonymous321 has clearly confused the assisted living center with the nursing home of the same name and next door. Residents of the assisted living center have their own private apartments and often found socializing with each other - not hoarded into a room to watch TV. Park Place Assisted Living is a wonderful facility that strives to achieve quality of life for each resident.

My mother in law was a resident of this facility and I found it to be very depressing due to the lack of interaction amongst staff and residents. Residents were left lying in bed with drapery closed and many were crowded into the foyer congregated around a large TV.
