Elan Corpus Christi Assisted Living & Memory Care

Élan Corpus Christi was a very nice place, but there was not enough staff and not enough residents. I walked in one day where they were having some kind of activity, and there was no participation at all. It's a brand new facility and the apartments were under 500 square feet, and they look more like a hospital environment room rather than a more homey type environment. The living areas and the activity areas were not as large as the other ones we saw too. The sales director was informing me that they only have two CNAs for the entire complex for memory care. However, they probably have the largest outdoor space that I've seen and I liked that it's a modern facility, and I liked the check-in process. They use a kiosk and every guest gets checked in. So, that's nice. I didn't experience that in other places.

I toured Elan in Corpus Christi. It's very new, very elegant, and upscale. They had really tight security as far as people coming in and out, having to go to a computer, and wearing a badge. It's extremely clean, too.

Elan Corpus Christi was homey and very clean. They had a theater and support groups. The people were very friendly. The dining area was homey and very nice. They had a courtyard, a place to do outdoor activities, and a nice place to sit around outside.

Elan Corpus Christi is new, clean, light and bright. The people are wonderful and caring and there are a lot of activities. It's a real warm community of residents and employees. I'm very pleased. They have a Zumba class, an art class, they take the residents out on excursions, they have a movie theater, and happy hour on Fridays. They have the landline phone, cable TV and wi-fi all included in the price per month. The food is much better than where my father came from, and it's mostly pretty well.

Elan Corpus Christi has been very good and we're very pleased. My father's accommodations there are very nice. They have everything like a workout room with equipment, they have an art studio, pretty standard facilities that all of the other places have. The staff is very good and we're very pleased with the staff members as well. Their facilities were very clean and they have activities all day long if you wish to participate.

My friend is in Elan Corpus Christi. It doesn't seem like a memory care place except for the size of the rooms because memory care rooms tend to be smaller. It has a very open layout, has lots of glass, and it's very modern. It's a really nice facility. They have planned activities for the memory care people.
