My mother was at the Village at Allandale. It was topnotch. It was wonderful. She loved it. They welcomed the family for her birthday. They let us set up a birthday dinner for her. It was a wonderful place. They also do hospice there if you need it. I think not all of them do that, so that was good. It met my mother's needs and more. It was a friendly family atmosphere. The family was welcome anytime. My mother made friends there. They rearranged the dining room. They thought people would mash and have something in common. Like the table my mom was at, it was all ladies about her age. There was a table that had men, and there was another table that had men and women. It was a home-like setting. They provided music, exercise, and chair yoga. The food was like family meals. It was good. I'd go over and eat with my mother some time with her at her table. My mother was used to her house, and so we got a double room. It was a large room. We were able to put a little sofa in there and a couple of chairs. My part of family lives near Nashville, so that way, when my brother and his family come up, we would have room for all of us. You could hang pictures on the wall. We took furniture from my mother's house to make it look homey. On the last day that I was over there, she died that night, but during that day it was COVID, and so you couldn't go in until hospice said so. I was able to give her things away to the people that work there. They were so kind to her. We really didn't need the furniture, and we gave it away to the staff that work there. That's just the relationship we had, that you felt like they're part of your family.

I went to the Village At Allandale. They also had a program for dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I saw both assisted and memory care. The staff was fantastic. The lady I spoke to down there gave me all the information -- everything that I asked for -- and she was explaining everything that goes on between healthcare and assisted living. She was well versed and she did a great job. The building itself was clean and roomy. All the rooms were really nice and more spacious than the other places, but we just looked at the two small ones and a larger room. It has a nice interior and exterior; everything was nice.

The Village at Allandale was good, but I didn't love it for us. I only looked at the memory care, but they had assisted living there as well. Everything was clean, and the people were friendly. The rooms were nice, and they had private and semi-private. The staff was friendly. They had activities, a gazebo and a sunroom, singers and entertainment would come in, and they also have crafts. The facility was clean.

I visited The Village at Allandale. It has three different buildings; one is for Alzheimer's, and the other two are assisted living. I really like this community. The atmosphere was very nice.

This facility provides everything we were looking for in an affordable place for our mother to live. The staff is extremely caring. There are a variety of activities available for the residents. The food is wonderful and the whole building is very clean. Important things for my mother is that they do not "boss" her. She is led to make choices for herself and everyone treats her kindly. She appreciates that the daily duties of cleaning and cooking are done for her. Ware very happy with the cre and respect she is given at Yesterday's Place at the Village.

The Village is such a helpful place with wonderful caregivers and staff. My family member seems to be doing really well there. They get good meals and have lots of activities to keep them busy. Such a joy to go to this place and interact with family and friends I have made there.
