My very elderly mom was at NHC for therapy to rebuild her strength so she could qualify for an assisted living. She was unable to transfer. I was out of town. I came back to hear that she had fractured her leg and was admitted to the hospital. It turns out she needed a pin put in her leg. I have no idea how it happened. She did not have the strength to move herself and had great difficulty even rolling to her side. The staff was transferring her using a sling contraption. She also managed to get a bruised sternum and developed a nasty cough. She was there for less than a month and went downhill. She is currently in another facility and has improved considerably.

My mom is at NHC Healthcare, Kingsport. The rehab facility is great. The staff members are very caring, and they take very good care of their patients. My mom loves their food. For activities, I've only seen bingo. They can go out in the courtyard. My mom is non-mobile right now, so she's not able to take advantage of that. With regards to cleanliness, they are amazing. In terms of location, it's near a hospital and restaurants.

All staff does excellent job. Treat patients like family. They have good food. What help would have carts that will keep trays hot. 7 dollar is high for family to afford to get something to eat. The facility is very clea0n and does not smell. The van driver is so friendly, treat people so nice. He does excellent job straping wheel chair in. He does excellent job driving. Lady out front is so nice. Kingsport NHC could set examples how facility should be ran Only major thing lot mattresses need be replaced. Lot them has like big dip in middle. But home office will not approve the facility to order enough to replace them all.

The kindness of the staff at NHC Kingsport is top notch! The nurses take time to pay attention to your issues. The CNA's help with a smile. When my neighbor needed some rehab NHC Rehab in Kingsport was recommended. So glad we chose them. They helped work through placement options and took the time to understand our needs. The care was excellent and we couldn't have made a better choice. Rooms were clean and we had plenty of choices when it comes to the food. We highly recommend anyone that needs some rehab to go to NHC Healthcare in Kingsport. They really are the best!

I would have given this a 0 rating. It wouldn't Let me. Food was pretty bad. Staff were catch as catch can. Some so good, the rest were not. I kept telling them I was I'll. I was begging for help. They finally believed me when my temp went to 103.6, and I was projectile vomiting. I was brought to the hospital and diagnosed with sepsis. They really lacked in care. I would never recommend them!

I had visited a rehabilitation center, Nhc Healthcare. It's a very nice place. The outside was very nice, and it was very well kept, inside and outside. The patients are taken care of very well. They have a lot of attention, they are checked on often, and they are cared for and provided for. They have good food service for them. They do well there. They go home and they are able to go home on their own, especially after a surgery of any kind. I think that is a plus when the patient can go home and be alone and by themselves and do well and can continue to take care of themselves. The ones I have visited, and I have visited more than one there, I do have to give them good, good ratings because they did very well by the patient that was there. I did see one of the meals that was brought to the patient and it was very presentable. It looked really good. Everybody was very pleased with it.
