We went to Arbor Landing at Surfside. Their price range was almost in my category. It's still a little bit high. Everything they showed us looked excellent. The staff showed me everything I needed to see. The building looks clean and well-maintained. The size of the studio was 16 by 12. I wasn't looking for a studio because I like a separate bedroom. The cedar living room was 12 by 18. The bedroom was 12 by 12, and the closet was 12 by 7. I love those large closets because there's so much stuff that you always have left over.

Arbor Landing at Surfside was a great place. It's a beautiful facility. The staff was very welcoming. The woman we met with, Rachel, did a great job of explaining how things work. What we liked about that place is its size. It's kind of more small-group oriented. It feels like everybody knows each other, which is a good thing. It's an independent living, but it has good assisted services available. We were very impressed with the rooms and the layout. They're spacious. Most of them were very bright and well-appointed and had nice kitchens. It had a microwave, a full fridge, and a stovetop with two burners, which is all that my dad would need. He doesn't need an oven. The interior was nice. The bathroom was very accessible. It had bars, and it was a step-in shower. It was kind of ready to go for somebody like my dad. We did not try the food, but I have talked to people who live there who say it's very good.

Arbor Landing at Surfside was a very clean and friendly community with lots of amenities. The staff was very knowledgeable and nice. They got spacious rooms and very well-maintained property. The dining area was also very nice. It's centrally located and it was a restaurant-style with tablecloths and centerpieces. They have all sorts of social groups. They do things with the veterans and the nurse practitioners come to the site. There's also physical therapy, a barbershop on site, cards/other games, and then live music on Friday nights.

It was like living in Shangri-la. Everyone of the staff was superb. They went out of their way to make sure l was happy and l will definitely be back. I was there for respite care, but will definitely consider permanent residency in the future.

My husband and I toured Arbor Landing at Surfside for my mother and my step dad. We were very, very impressed. It was wonderful. We could not believe how nice it was. Everybody was very kind, very helpful, and very optimistic. They had lots of different accommodations. I really liked the fact that they could bring their own furniture to make it their own. It was also handicapped-accessible, which was wonderful. They take them to doctor visits. They have outings every week to different places. There is a beauty salon, a library, lots of games, and a theater. It was very nice. There were lots of stuff to do.

I visited Arbor Landing at Surfside twice. It was very clean. The staff was friendly. The people who live there were friendly, and the amenities were excellent. Overall, it was just a very, very nice independent living place. The apartments were just well-kept and clean. The staff that toured me was very helpful. She answered all my questions, and she listened to what I was interested in. It was great. I have no problems whatsoever. The tour director, the kitchen staff, and everybody that I met were fantastic. The only thing that I had was financially-wise, it would be kind of hard to beat the price level. I had lunch with them today. The food was great. There's more than enough to eat.

My mother's second choice was Arbor Landing at Surfside, and that was good. The only thing with that one is, it did not have a complete kitchen. It had two cooktops, but no oven. They have their activities as usual. They do take them to doctor's appointments. They have a chef, and their food looks good, we just didn't taste it. The layout was very, very nice, it's clean, and It's new. The staff is personable, and it was amazing how well the staff treated everybody. The residents there were a hoot, they were funny.

We've chosen Arbor Landing at Surfside, and it's a beautiful home for our mother. The people are friendly, the food is great, and it is close to all the things she wants to be around. What I like best is it is a home designed for people as they age. They put a lot of thought into making it a nice home. They have a beautiful apartment, and for me it is one of the prettiest homes yet. The two-bedroom apartment is roomy, holds all her stuff, and keeps it very organized. The dining area is beautiful, and the food is good. They have games, they have trips, they have movies, and they have crafts. My mom has been there for less than a month, and she is happy. The staff are good, great, caring, and attentive. They are very nice people.

We've been to Arbor Landing at Surfside a couple of times. It is beautiful, and it is absolutely gorgeous. It's only been open for about five months, and they're trying to fill the place up. It is light, airy, beachy, and everybody was friendly. They still have a few restrictions because of COVID, but that was kind of good for us. We felt that it was a safe place. And it felt like home to my mom. We met the dining-room staff; they have a chef there, and we were able to meet and talk with them. They provide three meals a day. They also have an on-site thing if she needs to go up to assisted living, and they have a rehab and physical-therapy place on site there, as well.

I had a tour with Arbor Landing at Surfside. I have met some of the people that lived there, and they seemed very friendly. I liked it because it is the closest and my friends, of course, want me to be close so they can visit. But I don't think it is going to be that one only because it is independent living and I don't think that is good enough for me, unfortunately. The people that lived there seemed very happy. They spoke to me without my approaching them. It just seemed very nice. I don't like two floors, however, and I would always want to be on the first floor. The only staff I met was the tour person, I can't remember her name, but she was very good. I got something in the mail this year. It was not particularly addressed to me, it was just to anybody, and it said, "Come have a meal with us." And I might just do that. The place is not for me but I will certainly tell people if they are looking for independent living.

Our experience with Arbor Landing at Surfside was excellent. The staff was excellent, too. It was a very nice tour. The apartment was very nice and clean. They have a large sunny dining room, a small movie theater which is nice and different, and they have activities, too. It's a very good location. It's near shopping so if you want to independently go, it is just down the street. The staff is very accommodating. The food was very good. It was something I never had before, so I'm skeptical and I'm never inclined to order it, but it was good. Also, some of the residents came over and spoke to us and they sounded friendly.

We went to Arbor Landing at Surfside. It was beautiful, but it was too expensive, and my friend couldn't use her VA benefits. The people were very nice. The rooms were very nice, it was very light, definitely bright, and homey looking.
