My mother is in HarborChase of Aiken. It's close to home, it's very clean, and even the residents said they liked it. She's got dementia, so they just basically do coloring and trying to keep them occupied. On the assisted living side, there are trivia games and different things going on. The food is outstanding. The rooms are nice, cozy and have enough space.

Silver Bluff Grove was very inviting. I toured for my mother. The staff were so friendly and asked about my mom and her interests. They were doing exercise in the lobby area and I was impressed with their activities. Very clean.

We toured Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living. It was a small facility, which was nice. It's one level, and it seems that it was maintained very well. They had a lot of activities for the clients there. We only met a couple of the people that work there that were giving us a tour. We didn't really meet much of the staff. They seemed nice. The administrator, Diana, was very nice. She gave a lot of information. They had some type of activity they were doing in the lobby area while we were there.

I toured Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living. They had physical therapy there that I could work with, just things like that extra little thing that they could do with them. I did like that. It was very clean and the people seemed very caring. Those are the main things that I'm looking at for her. The staff provided a lot of information and attended to my concerns and those kinds of things. They had a little kitchenette, a bed, and a little sitting area. The bathroom was handicap accessible. It was easy to navigate in there and those kinds of things.

Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living was beautiful. I enjoyed it. They showed me everything. The staff helped me out with what I needed for my dad and made me feel comfortable. It was a pretty place. It was excellent. I like that they had memory care people altogether. Everybody was sitting in groups of two. They were eating and they were serving them. I like that they had different seating areas. I enjoyed an area where it looked like a large fireplace with couches that looked very homey. Nothing about it looked like a hospital or nursing home. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. They were friendly, and it seemed like the residents were friendly, too.

I went to Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living. It was a good tour, and it was very clean there. It smelled clean. They had a guy who comes in and plays a guitar and sings, and then they have another room where they do arts and crafts, and they keep them busy. The staff was very nice, and she did a nice tour and answered all our questions.

I went and toured Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living. I like that place. The staff, primarily Deanna, who was my guide, was very informative and very knowledgeable. The tour was wonderful because it didn't even feel like a nursing home facility. The rooms were nice. I saw the menu and their activity. I thought that was pretty good. There were a lot of activities, which is a good thing because most places are very limited when it comes to interaction with residents, especially ones that have challenges like dementia or Alzheimer's. They seemed very polite, professional, and courteous.

We toured Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living for my dad. It encompassed everything that was needed. You have doctors and nurses on staff. You have the physical therapy there. You have occupational and speech therapy for those who have cognitive issues. If you get the apartment with the kitchenette, they do supply the microwave and refrigerator. If you do not, you will have to bring your own. The staff is very upbeat and very knowledgeable. She's good with working with people with memory care and reinforcing the things that were already said like she says them in a different way and things of that nature. So that it's not like I told you that already or that kind of thing. She's very good at working with individuals with cognitive issues. She's patient and she's very energetic. The person who did the tours with us is the director of the facility. We looked at a menu and the schedule for the menu like breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at these times. There are snacks, too. We took a look at their ice cream parlor as well. They have different living areas depending on which wing you're on so that you don't have to be cooped up in your room. You can get out. They advised that the exit doors are not locked because they are emergency exit doors. However, if you do leave out of those doors, you cannot get back in. Out of the four we toured, this was in the best condition.

Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living was nice. The price is decent for it being an older building. The people were very friendly. It's very clean. They'll say they have a one-bedroom, but it's two apartments kind of put together. They have a living room and a bedroom, but you have two bathrooms because they didn't take them out. They pretty much just connected two rooms. Then they have a studio that's just a one-bedroom, and they don't have a kitchen. You can put a refrigerator and a microwave in there if you want to, but it doesn't have all that. They have a courtyard there.

Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living was very welcoming. We were able to talk to the director. She gave us a tour of the facility as well as the dining facility, the memory care unit, their daily activities, and stuff like that. She was able to answer all our questions. The rooms were nice and clean. They're studio apartment size. They showed us the senior activities. They have some therapy, and there's a courtyard, too.

Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living had a nice, warm feeling. The staff were very caring. The facilities are older so it is not as well designed for older people and did not have as much. It was one of the caregivers that gave me my tour and her interactions with the residents was A plus. They have a courtyard. It's not too far from urgent care and not close to the hospital, but it's a good location. It's easy to get in and out of.

I toured Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living. There was a little mix-up with the schedule of viewing. I was able to view one of the rooms, and I was very pleased with it. The room was very nice, bright and airy. There are no appliances, and they have a dining area where they go to eat. The staff was very pleasant, and he answered the questions, but he was the maintenance guy, and he showed me the room. It was recently updated.

Silver Bluff Grove Senior Living had been under new management and had been refurbished. So, it was new and all clean. They were well-staffed and the upper staff members that I saw had kind of a camaraderie there and that looked good.

Extremely understaffed and high turn over in staff. I hadfamily member there that started in assisted living , then moved to the memory care unit. Always ask - how many aids are on staff at any time. Memory care unit frequently had only one aid for the whole group. Someone from our family was there at a minimum of 2 times a day - this review does not come from casual observations. Many of the aids were excellent even given the challenges of low staffing - the administration rarely followed through on requests or getting back to us on questions. we moved our family member to another facility in Aiken

My father-in-law stayed at HarborChase of Aiken for a week for respite care. It wasn't fantastic. They weren't able to get him to socialize. My sister-in-law called to check on him, and they told her that he was doing well, but when I went to pick him up, I learned that he had not been out of his room, they had to insist that he take a shower, and they had to bring him his meals because he did not want to go to the dining room. He became very withdrawn and very reclusive while he was there. He did not want to come out of his room. I wish they had done a little bit more, but they cared for him. The place was clean. He had a large room, and it felt very institutional and not homey by any means, but I appreciated that they provided his bed and his bedding, the television, and the night stand.

HarborChase of Aiken is a beautiful place and they have everything you need. The people were as friendly as they could be. I'd recommend it to just about anybody. The rooms were beautiful and nice-sized. Everything was just topnotch. They were having an ice cream social when I visited and the residents were having fun. Some of them were wandering around and reading books. They take them shopping to different stores as well as church get-togethers.

My mom was at HarborChase of Aiken for 4 weeks. Everyone was very helpful and very friendly. I really like the place a lot. She was in a semi-private room, but they each had their own little spot. It worked out very well. The grounds were well kept, but it was expensive. They had lots of things planned that I could tell. I joined a zumba class there. They had bingo. They had church-related services. They had a little exercise class where all the residents could come.

HarborChase of Aiken seemed fine. They had what I will probably need in the future. The rooms were kind of on the small side. There was room for a bed and not much more. The dining area looked fine. The staff was super; they were very nice. I thought the rooms were small, and that was the main thing, but, of course, they can't easily change that. The price was reasonable. It was less than I thought it was going to be.

The only place we toured was the HarborChase of Aiken for my father. The community was very nice and impressed us very much. They had a chef there who gave us a little treat. It was really good. The sales coordinator, Dianne, was most helpful and very nice. Everyone was very nice. The people that lived really liked that place and spoke very highly of it. We saw different-sized rooms that were very adequate and very nice. The view was very good in a wooded area. It felt peaceful.

Harbor Chase is very nice. However, they had small rooms, which can only fit a single bed and a flat fee for medical of $500. They had a singing group that came in and sang hymns for the residents and had rescue animals come in from the shelter to interact with the residents. I saw them playing bingo and eating in the ice cream parlor.

My mom is in Harbor Chase. I like that she is able to take a bath in an actual tub, which she hasn’t done in years. Her leg is amputated above the knee, and she has dementia, but they have a bus for transport, so she has been able to go shopping and out to eat. That's a nice thing for her to be able to do. The staff seems very caring and are very good caregivers. They took two rooms and made them into one suite for her. Housekeeping had been an issue, but that was quickly corrected. Overall, I think it is decent. We were impressed with Harbor Chase when we met the director and saw this facility, so we didn't go anywhere else.

We visited Harbor Chase. It was a very nice facility, and the staff was very nice. The apartments were very nice and clean. I came into a big lobby and sitting area then went down a few halls to get to the rooms. Then they had a secured building for the memory care unit. It was a very nice set up. It was big and very updated. They had a calendar of the daily activities.
