"Washington Commons was very nice, but they did not have a kitchen. They provide three meals a day, and the food was good. The staff was very nice, very polite, and very informed. They offered laundry, housekeeping, meals, and security. The facility was very pretty and very nice. The food was OK, not the best."

Read articles, talk to friends! Choose your battles. I learned that there are more options to help my Mama be as independent as possible. Look at all the rooms available and the grounds and entrances. There is something for everyone. Safety was one of our main concerns. I know Mama feels safe bc she has often told me “do you know someone is at the front desk 24/7” Mama feels as if she has a place to call her own! That is so important to her! She loves the staff and activities. I feel as if they are her family. There have been times the staff had to call when Mama needed medical attention. I felt that I didn’t have to get I the care right away. They were able to tell me everything I needed to know and I could rest and decide what my need step would be. She loves the food!!! She love the activities and the people in charge of activities. Thank you for giving my Mama the opportunity to enjoy these years!!! She deserves it! "
