The people at Wynwood House are very personable. They have made my father very comfortable and I would recommend them. The staff is very kind and courteous. He enjoys the food and is very pleased with the menu selection. They take very good care of him and there seems to be a lot of staff there. They also take care of his medication on time and do his laundry. It's a brand new place. So, all the furniture is very nice and the size of the room is good. They have activities like some different study groups and an exercise program. We're very, very pleased with Wynwood House.

Wynwood House - State College was very nice. The lady who toured me here was fantastic. She was very accommodating for everything. They had lots of stuff, like a hair salon and activities with the residents. They had a craft room for the women. It was very beautifully laid out. The only thing I didn't like was where the dining room was and how it was set up. They were long tables that were almost off of the lobby. All the other places I visited had individual tables, with maybe four residents able to sit at each one. So, I just didn't prefer the long table seating, but the place was beautiful. It's newer and the residents walking around were all very friendly. The staff was also very nice.

Wynwood House at State College was brand new. The rooms were nice. The single room was big enough. You can fit a couch and another chair. The residents who have Alzheimer's were there too with the other people, and the staff member said they don't have a problem with them being there. They're not locked up, but there's no way people can get down because the door only goes in and everything is locked at night. There are staff members there at night, too. The room was spotless and nobody had been inside it yet. The people that I met and talked with were great and nice enough. They offer three meals a day and your room is hooked up for cable TV and internet. The prices were decent. The cafeteria was really nice and looked like a fancy restaurant.
