My husband was in Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill for a year and a half. There were three floors and he was on the third floor. The place was well kept and the rooms were nice. It was a nice place. The only reason he's out of there is that he was too much to handle for them. After all, that is assisted living. They just couldn't take care of him anymore because he needed too much care. His room was a nice size and it had a bathroom in it. It was clean and he seemed to be happy there. The staff members were good with him. When he needed something, they were there to see that he had help. He didn't complain about the food. The dining area was very nice and it had tablecloths. Value for money was good compared to nursing homes.

I toured Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill. The tours were okay. They had both a studio and one bedroom. They're all very small. I didn't see anything for entertainment. I just saw people walking around like zombies. They have libraries. The tour guide was okay. The tour guide was very good. All the staff were very good. They even said hello and everything in the hallways. The facility was kind of gloomy and it's not bright and cheery.

I went to look at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill. Everyone seemed very friendly, both the residents and the staff. The facility was nice and clean. It was very accommodating for everything we were looking for. The common areas were very welcoming. When I was there, there was a group that was together, and I believe I heard them say they were starting some bingo.

I toured the Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill in Pottsville. It was assisted living and the place was very friendly. I know 2 people that are down there. The one just moved in only maybe a month ago, but the other one has been there for several years. As far as I know, they're very accommodating and they take care of their people. As far as I know, it's a good place to go. The staff that toured me when I visited, was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are nice. The one lady friend I know was in what you would call a suite, at first, with the living area and bedroom areas separate. After her husband passed, she went into just the regular room, but both rooms were very nice. My friend didn't go down to the activities, but they did have activities. She just didn't use them. The food's pretty good the way I understand it, and I have been in their dining area already. That's a nice environment there. In nice weather, they have bands that come there and play for the people so they have nice activities like that.

Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill is just assisted living. The staff was very friendly and personable. They had a very definite designated library reading area that's right out their main lobby, which looked very warm and welcoming. It kind of catches your eye as you come into the main lobby. Their lobby area was very inviting also with its decor. On their second floor, they had a very, very nice sort of like a sunroom. It had a lot of windows and it lets a lot of sunshine in and it's a very large area that you could just sit and enjoy the sun, but be indoors.

My mother-in-law has moved into Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill. Overall, the look of the building is very nice. It is a very clean area. For the most part, everything is good. I have some issues with the nursing department and stuff like that. Other than that, the building is nice. The outside is nice with nice scenery, and the rooms are decent. They have quite a bit of activities going on. They do like entertainment in the afternoon. They do some games, and they do some movies. They have different people that come in and play music. I don't see a lot of it right now. They don't want us in the building due to COVID right now again. I haven't been there for any of the entertainment. I just hear or see it on a calendar.

When my mother was in assisted living at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill, I liked it, but she needs more than that now. Last October, she got a really bad infection. It hit her system-wide, and it made her funny ever since; she hallucinated, she believed it was real, and she will not drop it. I tried to correct her a couple of times, and she still insisted it was true. Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill was pretty good. For the most part, we had a pretty good time with the staff. They had television in their rooms, they had crafts, and they had different musical events at that time. In fact, they were so interesting, I went to see a few of them. My mother was on the second floor, but she had to get outside help for her foot wounds, and nobody knew how to handle that when they were there. I understand that because I myself have had foot problems in the past that were similar, but it surprised me why she got it then, because mine was due to food allergies. From what she said, some of them didn't know how to handle certain things. Nevertheless, they were all pretty much polite.

She liked it there at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill, but it was becoming too expensive. My mother loves it there. There are many things for people at Luther Ridge to do. My mother met a lot of nice people, and the people that worked there are very nice. My mother really loved the place, and she really had a good time there.

The facility is lovely and offers a beautiful, comfortable environment for the residents. Quality of care is going down in the past few months due to a high turnover in clinical staff or staff has been downsized. Communication between staff and families has been lacking as well as response to resident's needs in a timely manner. A change for the not so good in the meals has also been notices.
