Cambridge Hillside was clean and slightly outdated, but overall, a positive place. They had a movie theater, a gazebo outside, and some outside space. The staff members were very friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed caring. The room was clean, and slightly outdated but adequate.

My mom is at Cambridge Hillside. She has been there for a few months now. It's clean and neat. It's well decorated. The rooms are spacious. Even in the shared rooms, the tenants have enough room to themselves. It's well set up. My mom has her own dresser, and she is allowed to have a mini refrigerator in her room. It's a good location, too. However, there are some things that my mom is complaining about. It's an OK facility. I don't know the staff very well. When my mom first moved in, they were very understaffed, so things were a little stressful. The staff was stressed out. Right now, there has been a few new hires, so things are a little bit better. When I talk to them, they seem nice. Especially the manager, the director, and the lead nurses that work there, seem nice. However, my mom doesn't like the food, and that's her biggest complaint. She's on a special diet, and they're not accommodating to her very well. I like the cleanliness of it. Every time I go there, it's very neat and clean. It's well decorated, it's very inviting, and it looks like a well-put-together home. In that way, they're doing good with cleanliness. They just keep the place clean. There are some activities. I don't think there's a lot but there's some. There's an exercise class they have once a week, there's bingo night once a week, and there's a couple of other things. I'm hoping they'll start up some more things now that the weather's getting nicer.
