My father moved into Oaktree Residential Living. There are only fourteen or fifteen residents, and he has his own room. He has his own furniture, he likes the food, and he is doing well. It's just a room that has a sink and a mirror. The bathroom is down the hall, and it is wheelchair accessible. The staff are doing a wonderful job. I think they have five-to-six activities planned each day, but the main ones that he likes are puzzles and anything that has to do with gardening. They also have a courtyard. Since he is wheelchair bound, there wasn't enough room for a stationary bicycle, so I bought one where you could put it on your desk and pedal, so he is doing that every day.

Mom has been in Oaktree Residential Living for over a month now. They have a residential care and 2 foster homes. In their smaller residential home, they have 15 or 16 patients, so they’d get a whole lot more individual care. The family that runs it is very caring, and somebody is always around. All of the staff has been real caring, and they keep the place clean as to where it smells nice and the food is very good. I’ve been really impressed with the help that they have so far. Mom is a lot happier, too.
