The food at Holiday Prairie Rose was really good. It was very tasty. I know that they are going to remodel. The facility was kind of dated. The apartments to us seemed dated. My mother-in-law wanted an option where she could have a regular kitchen, and they only have a little kitchenette in all their apartments. The staff member was very good, very hospitable, very informative, and really interacted with my mother-in-law a lot. They're friendly.

I like the people who work at Holiday Prairie Rose. I did not like that they have a basic package plan and then you have to add to it because it seemed like all of the packages that you add to it are very expensive when, in my opinion, it would be better to include those things. So, I just did not like the package plan. The apartments were very nice, clean, and very roomy. They showed us the dining room, the library, the laundry, and the room where they watch TV and relax. It looked like a very good community. I like everything about it except for their pricing.

I have lived here since 2021 and have highly recommended it to others repeatedly. The staff is so helpful any time you ask for help of any kind and always have a smile on their faces. The rooms are comfortable and have a house keeper in every week. The food is good and whats more i don’t have to cook anymore! People have their puppies and cats here and they are loved by every one. There are paved sidewalks for every one to take a stroll on or to go on a walk in a walker or a wheelchair they are so wide. We have sing a longs on some Sundays and a gentleman who cones in to play the piano for us and even a choir to perform on holidays. Prairie Rose has a maintenance guy here that can fix any problems you might have including helping you hang things all you have to do is ask. The laundry rooms are always clean and the trash emptied everday. The Perfect Fit nursing assistants are so great, and always there to help in whatever capacity you might need them. There is so many kind people that live here that are always ready to extend a helping hand or to ask how you are doing that day. All in all i could not think of a nicer place to have your loved ones live!

I went to Holiday Prairie Rose. It was beautiful. We got to eat with them, and the food was really good. The people were really friendly. I love that place. They had little rooms where you put puzzles together and they had different gathering rooms, too. It was a super nice place. They had a lot of activities going on. They've got great food, too. You sit at a table, and they bring you food. It's not like a cafeteria setting; it's like a restaurant setting. The staff who toured us was super nice. She returned all my phone calls. She kept in touch with me. Then she called to tell me that it would cost an extra $3,500, but we couldn't afford that. It was like a private type place. The people were super nice. They've got elevators. They have a pool room. They have a van that comes by and takes you to the store a couple of times on a certain day, and they will take you to your doctor's appointment, too. It seemed to be a well-working place. It's working as it should and the staff was all very friendly.

My mother is at Holiday Prairie Rose. She has been there for a month now. She is in independent living with hospice care. It's a very nice community. People are positive and helpful. She has very nice accommodation. Her room is clean and spacious. With regards to the dining area, there's adequate seating, fresh water, and the tables are well-presented.

Holiday Prairie Rose was very nice. They have beautiful plants and the landscaping was very, very enticing and very inviting. It was very pretty. The staff was very informative. They have a dining room and you would be able to walk outside and walk around the place. It was very pleasing to the eye. It wasn't run down. It was upkept very well. The room had many kitchenette types and I think it had a little fridge and the living room had a little area there where you could put a small table. It was a nice size. It had a small bedroom, but there was a huge walk-in shower and it's wheelchair accessible.

Holiday Prairie Rose feels clean and homey. Mom's apartment is also clean. Her bedroom is a lot larger than I expected. It's got a nice bathroom and a nice little patio. Her main reason for going to that place was she had a puppy and she wanted a door to let her puppy out and then there's a little fence up for him. They have live music, bingo, games, and last Tuesday they had a luau. The dining area looked nice, too. They offered me a lemonade and it was delicious. The staff is helpful.

Holiday Prairie Rose was very spacious. The dining area was very large. It just didn't seem cozy. The staff members were very good. The common area was a little far from their rooms, and it was not centrally located. It's too expensive. The outdoor space was well-maintained.

Holiday Prairie Rose is a nice, large facility, two stories at least. It has numerous rooms. There's a two-story open area where you can look down on the people below you as you walk along the top. It has numerous meeting rooms along the way, and the activity rooms have ample space. The dining facility looked good. I thought the rooms were nice, too. They have a few covered parking spots

Holiday Prairie Rose was nice. I've only spoken to one lady and I figured that might be because it was a holiday, so there were probably a lot of people who were off. It's a decent property, but it's not for my mom. Nothing's wrong with it all. I just didn't get that vibe, but they were very friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions and asked about my mom and all that stuff. So, it was great. They have a little balcony where the residents could walk out of their rooms onto. I liked that. That was pretty nice. The dining room was also nice. It was kind of set up with little tables. It seemed like all the residents were really sweet and happy. The facility was clean. They have a beauty/barber shop and a little library that's like a sitting room where you could watch TV or play a game of pool.

I am choosing Holiday Prairie Rose for myself. It was very nice and very clean, and the atmosphere felt very good. I like it there. My daughter wanted me there because she knows that I'm safe. The staff was very nice to me. They were great. The apartments were nice. It's located in a good area. There's a park across the street and I can go over there and walk sometimes. They have exercise programs, and they take you out to Walmart on a bus.

They offered us to have a meal there; but at the time, we didn't have my dad with us. However, we are always welcome to go back. They have a courtyard; it was pretty nice.

My parents and I toured Holiday Prairie Rose and they liked the openness and the brightness of the facility. The layout was pretty simple. There's one hallway, the elevator, and downstairs into the big dining room to eat. It's just easy to get around in. The staff seemed very nice. The two-bedroom, two-bath was also nice. Cleanliness was OK, but maybe the carpet needed to be replaced in the halls. My father and I had breakfast there, while my mom and my sister had lunch, and everybody liked the food.

I was with Tanya yesterday at Prairie Rose independent living, and she was very, very nice, and very helpful. I'm limited in how far I can walk so she put me in a wheelchair and took me all over. They have extensive facilities and anything that you could want. They also have a very nice dining room, a home health care place, and a physical therapy place. She was very, very kind, very nice, and I had a nice time visiting with her. The apartment was just what you would typically find in other places but it was very clean and it had a nice little balcony. To me, that was a plus. They had a variety of rooms to offer but right now, they only have 3 openings opened. They're all just like the one I saw yesterday, the 1-bedroom. They have a larger 1-bedroom and then a studio, but they don't have anything available right now. It was very, very quiet yesterday. There wasn't anybody doing anything. They had just finished lunch, and I think people were probably in their rooms recuperating from lunch. I saw some people, but not a lot, and they didn't have any scheduled activities at that time. She just showed me some ladies that play cards and they had a nice area that had a lot of books. If you wanted to read, you could go do that. They had a big, beautiful area down the middle of the lobby that had performers that come in and sing and entertain people. She told me all the amazing things that they did every single month.

I will be moving into Prairie Rose. It's just the most wonderful feeling when you walk in the front door, and all the people are just so friendly, helpful, and happy to see you. It's a lovely place. I even spoke to one of the ladies who lived there, and she said, "We all love it. Don't just take my word, ask anybody." I had lunch one day, and it was really good. I enjoyed it. No complaints there at all. The one-bedroom, which is what I've rented, is very spacious for a one-bedroom. I really liked it. Even the one I'm getting has a balcony. I am from the South, and so I love southern plantations, and that's what it reminds me of, the exterior. The dining area was nice. It's so clean, and it has a nice fresh odor when you come in the front door. It's just ideal, I love it. I was there during the lunch hour. I can't say enough about the facility.

We went to the Prairie Rose. They offered three meals a day. It was nothing more than an apartment house with a few little things in there, like a beauty salon. It wasn't anything special, but for what it was, it was a good place. The rooms were good, they were a good size. The residents were doing pretty well. They were all walking around by themselves. A few people used the walkers and some people had oxygen. That was one reason why my granddaughter didn't think we belonged there. They had organized activities. They had where they took a bus, and you could go on a trip somewhere.

Prairie Rose was nice. It's just that it's more independent living and then you pay for the rest of it. I think the assisted living fits mom better. I like the rooms. There's nothing wrong with the facility. The staff was friendly. It seemed like they knew what they were doing, and they were informative. It had a nice backyard area, and the upkeep was fine. It's easy to get to when there's not a lot of traffic.

I've signed up with Prairie Rose. I was very favorably impressed. They impressed me very much, they were nice, and they talked to me openly and honestly. It's not in the middle of Tulsa, they only had 100 people, and boy are they careful with COVID. Everyone there has been vaccinated -- both doses. It just seemed really great. I have a lease for nine months or something at a special discounted rate. The lady who gave me the tour and all the information was just perfect. The facility looks like a mansion from Gone with the Wind. It's big, it's three stories, but I don't want anything above ground floor, and they answered correctly. The people were lovely. When I got there, they were getting ready to eat, and everybody went to the dining hall for the meals. In this age group and this situation, getting up and going can be daunting, and so I just think they were terrific. The price she quoted was $1885. Then you add the discount for five months to that, and no one came close; everybody wanted a fortune. So, it's great. She showed me the menu, and it was fabulous.

Prairie Rose was first class. The only negative to it, and that's because of my mother's health, is the apartment they showed her. It will be too hard for her to get food and stuff because it's in the end of one of the hallways. They're almost $1000 a month less on the 2-bedrooms than the others I've looked at, so that's the main thing in their favor. I would call it an assisted living more because they provide you meals and housekeeping and trip to the doctors. I don't know if they have a nursing staff on hand, they didn't say anything about that, but I'm also just learning all about these things as we go. They had multi-story apartments. I saw a couple of people walking around, using a walker and some people sitting in the library area, reading a book. Breakfast is sent into the rooms automatically every morning, unless you don't want it. You can call up and order your meals off the menu and either you come down and pick it up or they'll send it to your room. They don't serve breakfast in the cafeteria, they only do it in the rooms. One thing I don't like about it is breakfast is whatever they feel like fixing. It could be scrambled eggs, quiche, and pancakes, waffles or French toast. I'm one of those people that's not a big breakfast fan. The staff I dealt with was very outgoing and friendly. As for price, they were talking about $2600 for a month for a 2-bedroom for two people, everybody else is $3000 to $4000, so that's a point in their favor by itself.

They're incredibly great at Prairie Rose. I really enjoy them. They're very nice. My father has a really nice one-bedroom apartment with a bathroom and a little kitchenette with no stove. He receives all his meals. They have a library, an internet area, a lot of amenities, and a beautiful dining room. The staff is really wonderful. The home health people are incredibly friendly, engaging, and he receives physical therapy. The facility staff is incredibly kind and nice to me and to him. It's a really nice place. He said he's happy with the food. Their response to the virus was really good. I feel like he is being properly taken care of given the situation. They were the cheapest option that we could find for the level of care that he needed.

My sister liked the Prairie Rose, except she doesn't like it that they have no security at night. They were very well taken care of, there were a lot of staff in the dining room, and the food is really good. She likes that they are very active, they play games, and they are very nice. She likes her room, she likes having a walk-in shower, it's very clean, and she's very comfortable there. It bothers her that there is no security at night. The facility is very old, it only has 2 small elevators, but the activities are good.

Prairie Rose was fine but needed some upkeep. The staff seemed to pull double-duty, so I guess I was a little concerned about the staff. The dining room was open in a living area, so that was kind of different. The apartment seemed fine and very basic since there wasn’t a full kitchen. Nothing jumped out to me as being outstanding or bad. They need to clean the carpets. That was one of the first things I noticed. The carpets were dirty and had spots all over them right where you walk in. It’s very reasonable price-wise, so I would recommend someone to go look at it.

We placed my dad at Prairie Rose about a month ago. I like it a lot. The food is good. The people are nice. The room is nice and has met all of his needs. It is not as expensive as the assisted living facility, so that also made it attractive. There is a place to do your hair, and they have workout activities, but my dad is not interested in that. My sister has been at Prairie Rose for about four months now. It is a very nice place and the facilities are all really nice, but she is not too happy with the food. It is not that there is anything wrong with it, but she has worked in food service all of her life so she is pretty picky, I guess. All the people that live there are fairly happy with it, she is just not. Her room is like a little apartment with a bedroom, a not really nice bathroom, a living room, and something like a kitchenette. The staff members are accommodating and helpful, they check on her, and they actually go in to do some housekeeping for her. It is a really nice place. They have an exercise room, they take them to Walmart when they want to go, and they do have group things for the residents to do.

I visit Prairie Rose all the time. My mother-in-law lives there. It's a great community, but I can't afford it. My mother-in-law has a one-bedroom apartment. I guess the staff is very good; I haven't really met any of them, but she loves the place. The amenities and the food are great. The dining area is very nice. The chef always comes out and asks questions -- mostly he asks if the food is good. They need to improve on their speed because they don't get to the residents quickly enough if they need something.

Prairie Rose is mom's first choice. She loves the staff. They assist her with anything she needs. She loves the people there. She fits in really well in the community. They have activities for her. In fact, it is field-trip day today and they're going out for lunch. She loves her room. She had it decorated just the way she wanted it. She took the things that meant to her the most and they made sure they have rooms for them. She's really happy there. They have a garden and a patio and she loves both of those. She just feels at home in this community.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have lived at Prairie Rose for nearly 2 years. Love this place and love the dedicated staff. The service is wonderful and the food is excellent. I shopped several retirement facilities in Tulsa and found that Prairie Rose has everything I need. The prices are very affordable. And I appreciate that everyone that works here is so caring.

Prairie Rose has the most wonderful team working there. They get things done when asked, the same day, food service is great. they accomodate things requested and the management team is fantastic. the managers have an open door policy 24/7 if you need them. I recomend you go in and meet the staff at Prairie Rose, you will love what you see.

I am a friend or relative of resident

Do not put your loved ones at Prairie Rose. My mother was there for two years. There is lots promised and very little delivered. They change staff, including "management" and their chefs, often, whick leads to little consistency. But most compelling is that you will likely get attitude from the management staff. They are real quick to tell you when they are not on duty, or don't feel like getting up to go do something. I asked them to check on my mother, because her phone wasnt working. The manager refused and told me I coudl do it myself, by the time I could get there, my mother had died. When I confronted that manager, I was told it was a "training issue!" THAT is the kind of customer service you can expect! It's a training issue simply to go knock on a door? I could go on, because there has been more, but that should give you the general attitude that currently exists there.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mother lives at Prairie Rose and has for the last two years. Although the decision to move her to a retirement community was not an easy one, none of us could be happier with Prairie Rose. The staff was wonderful at getting her settled in to her new living space and even helped us move her belongings in with her. From day one, they were on call for her every need, providing her with so much more than my wife and I were able to with our jobs and own children to deal with. She loves the freshly cooked meals and has met so many wonderful people who share her interests. She has talked about the many activities she has been able to participate in including bingo, bridge, and most importantly, Bible study. One of the most important aspects for her when we were looking for a community was that she would be able to regularly attend mass and be a part of a community that embraces religion. With regular Bible study, church services, and a shuttle system that allows her to attend a local church on days where the community doesn't provide services, her religious needs have been tremendously accommodated. Overall, I highly recommend Prairie Rose to anyone in the Oklahoma area because of all the services available to the residents and the care and effort the staff puts in to making life easier for our loved ones.
