The tour at Brookdale Zanesville was very good. They were very attentive to our needs and everything, but it was way out of our price range. The rooms were great, clean, and roomy. They had all the handicap accessories and showers and accommodations. The staff was wonderful. They're great people and answered all our questions. I observed the residents there eating, and some of their activities. The dining area was clean and spacious. They had places for physical exercise and all that kind of stuff. The staff was kind and accommodating to us. It was clean. The only thing was there was no one at the reception desk when we came in.

I toured Brookdale Zanesville. I liked that it's a smaller group, and they focused on their residents and didn't just leave them in the corner. I liked their dining area. It was very nice with the linen tablecloths and nice glasses. It was just a nice atmosphere. There was a beauty salon, and they had church services. I thought it was just a very cozy place.

My wife moved into Brookdale Zanesville. I like the people that work there, and I like the way they're taking care of her. She's beginning to be more cooperative and that helps a lot because she needs to be, in order to get all the help she can get. It is locked down and they have to let me in and let me out every day. They don't mind if I come any time and I go twice a day. It's fairly close to where I live, so it all works well. Her room is nice. We have our furniture in there. It's got a nice window and she's able to look outside. The bathroom is easily accessible. I like the room. They showed me another room with furniture in it and I liked the layout. Hers has a room for a couch, a couple of chairs, and a chest of drawers, and it's working out very well. They have three meals a day, and they can take her down with her walker and help her eat. Sometimes she doesn't eat, and sometimes she sleeps a lot, but she's getting better. She hasn't taken part in any of the things that they do and barely talks to anybody, but I think that's getting better. They take her out for a walk and she says hi to people and some of them know her name now. The attendants do a very good job.

My mother is in Brookdale Zanesville, and it's working out real well. I chose the place because it was clean. The person that runs the facility was on top of it, very professional, and answered all the questions that I had. I had a good experience. My mom has a little dog and it provided an area where she could walk around the facility on a paved walking path with some woods and some grass area that she was comfortable with. They spent quite a bit of time getting the room. They put new carpet, painted the walls, and put new appliances. It was very welcoming. Anything that we asked for, any questions that we had, they could certainly take care of it. It was also four minutes away from where I live. The staff is very welcoming, very accommodating, and very polite. My mom has absolutely no complaints about the food. It's very comfortable and very clean. Everything's in its place. I'm very impressed with that. They've got big open hallways. It seems like they're doing something this afternoon, which is something my mom needed. She needed socialization. I know it's helping her quite a bit to be able to do the things that she hasn't done in a while. Value for money is very good. I'm very happy with the price. I was extremely impressed with the person that runs the facility, but a big factor was my mom's dog. They just provided better privacy and comfortableness and a walking path, and she's not near traffic. It was very private. The outside was more of an open space environment.

We toured Brookdale Zanesville for my father and mother-in-law. It was very, very good. The director there was very friendly, very informative, and just made us feel very comfortable. It is very extensive. Their food selection looked good, and the rooms were nice. It's kind of out in the country a little bit, but it was just easy to navigate. Brookdale was on the lower side of the cost spectrum. It was an older one and a little bit dated.

I thought Brookdale Zanesville was a very nice facility, and the people were very nice. The salesperson we talked to was very helpful and very caring. We toured the memory care. We also talked to the lady that was in charge of the activities. We saw one furnished room, and then we saw the one that was vacant or empty; it was ready for my mom if she needed it. It was very efficient.

Brookdale Zanesville was very nice. Hospitality was very good. The staff was very knowledgeable. The place was very well-kept. They gave a whole calendar of what their activities were. They take weekly trips to restaurants, have other trips like shopping, have music performers come in, have chair exercise classes, and they have a beauty salon. One of the residents allowed us to see her room, and how she had it set up, and everything was great.

I would recommend Brookdale Zanesville to anybody. It has an awful lot of things to offer. It's a good facility. The people who work there seem to be fine and are very knowledgeable. They do well with what they do. Their pricing is one of the better ones. Everything seems to be just fine down to the meals. The chef even came out to talk to me. It's really a good facility, from the way they prepare their meals, serve their meals, their activities for the elderly, the way they come in and work with them to help their minds, to how they exercise with them. They have entertainment come in from time to time. Everything's in its proper place, including the cleanliness.

Brookdale Zanesville was a little bit more private than the other places I had seen. It was very nice there. The people were very polite and very friendly in general. The staff was very nice and very friendly. They answered all of my questions. The rooms were okay and very clean. They all seemed to be what I was expecting. I liked that they had a little bit more space.

It was very nice. The lady who showed us the place and told us everything about it was very pleasant. She seemed very nice and very informative, and I couldn't find any fault in their actions at all. I liked their nice, big, roomy central where you could sit and read or talk and play games although I thought some of the rooms were rather small. It was very nice, very clean, and very neat.

We visited with my parents. We saw a variety of rooms there. The rooms were nice. We had a meal, and my parents enjoyed that. The staff was very friendly. However, when we were there, there didn't seem to be much going on. Compared to some of the other places we saw, we sort of noticed that the people there didn't seem to be happy.

It would have been my second choice. The facilities are excellent. The way that they handle the dementia patients during day time and the way they supervise them is just excellent. They're quite good at it. They have the facilities which were specifically planned for that. Personally, I did not think that the food was quite as strong as it was with other facility. And sometimes the food is important with people with dementia.
