My father-in-law has only been at The Colony Healthcare Center for a short time. The people there are great. His room is kind of small. We're on a waiting list for a room of his own. The upkeep of the entire place seems pretty good. I don't have any complaints. It just needs a few updates. Parking is a little bit far from the entrance. My husband has issues. He's a little disabled. So it's a little hard, but we usually just let him out at the door, and then I go park.

The rooms are outdated and old. The staff are kind but some are not very experienced in wound vac care or ostomy care The food is some of the worst I’ve ever tasted in my life.

This is older facility however has a lot of repeat business because of how they provide care for residents. The place is clean and taken care of. I visited with my friend's family member and everyone was friendly and helpful. She said that her grandmother was here first, then my friend needed rehab and now her mother is here because care provided is excellent. STNAs and nursing working hard and taking care of residents

Mom ended up at Essex Healthcare. She’s been there for probably 70 days. They took her that same day. Sometimes they’re understaffed, but all in all, we’re pleased; they’ve been helpful. She’s in a single room, and it is very comfortable and large. It has 2 chairs, and we took a small foam and table in.

We actually placed my mother-in-law in a nursing home in back in Ohio. It's been about three weeks since we moved her to Essex Healthcare of Tallmadge. So far everything is fine from what I gathered in the couple of weeks. We are pleased with it so far. The staff is excellent. There is no problem with the odor on the place. I think it is clean enough; that's one reason we made the choice. I would recommend the place. I think for the most part the staff is good, and the cleanliness is good.

I visited the facility. I went at lunch time to see the quality of food. The food is terrible, most residents could not have what they requested, ther was no sugar for residents, the hamburgers that was served look like the had been around since last year and they did not even use hamburger buns, the bread was falling apart, apple sauce was only choice of desert. The alternate consist of peanut butter and chicken noodle soup. what if my mother is allergic to peanut butter it kills.
