I looked at The Inn At Summit Trail. That was very impressive, but we ruled it out because of its location. It was the most recent build, and it was spectacular. I only spoke with the admissions person and was impressed. I put them up there with the other facilities. I took a tour but I didn't get any interaction with the staff. I saw their menu. The dining area was like going into a restaurant. It's large. They have a lot of choices and variety. The folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. What impressed me also is that they had a little bistro area. I was there about 6:00 to 7:00 and the people went to the bistro, and they had a beer. It was where people gather together; I would like to sit down and have a beer myself. That was pretty impressive in how that was available for them.

We chose The Inn At Summit Trail. We put a downpayment to reserve a room, and mother will move in before long. It was nicer than the other one, and it was less expensive, which surprised us as well. The staff was really friendly, it seemed really well organized, it was very bright and spacious, the room was bigger than the other places we looked at, and the cost was less. It's a fairly new facility. It's close to my sister, her granddaughter, and centrally located for the family. It was out away from the suburbs, so it was very nice.

The Inn At Summit Trail is very clean. It's a newer place (about 3 years old), and it's very nice. We like it a lot. The staff who gave the tour was very good. She showed us everywhere and explained everything to us. She was very nice.

The rooms at The Inn At Summit Trail were too small. I think their largest room was about 300 or 400 square feet, and they only had a one-bedroom for the two of us. The facility was a little dark, too, but the people were very nice. I liked the marketing director, Ellie; I thought she was very good. I also met the main nurse. When I found out how small the room was, I didn't spend that much more time touring around and revisiting the total package, but I remember I saw there are plenty of walking paths outside the building, since it's really out in a remote area.

The Inn at Summit Trail was beautiful, excellent, and very inviting. The person who accommodated me was excellent. The food was very tasty, and the dining room was beautiful. The apartment was excellent. I looked at several different sizes and they were all very nice. I saw residents seated and doing exercises with their arms and legs. I also saw a choir come in and sing for them in the general area where they normally would be eating. I was very impressed.
