My sister was a patient here for almost 7 years. I was not her POA and couldn't visit because of health .She. passed away on 2/22/21 I feel staff was very unkind to her. They led me to believe they just loved her but I could hear some of them talking to her and it sounded cruel.She lost a very nice coat and her teeth in there.I have never recieved notification of her death or condolence of any kind. She was my family and it breaks my heart to think of her there

My mom is in Southern Hills Skilled Nursing & Rehab. It's been a very good experience, the staff is cooperative, informative, everything that they can do with this pandemic going on. We can see her, but you have to talk to her through windows and doors. They've been very cooperative, I highly recommend them. She likes the food, and she's enjoying it. It looks clean from the outside, it's very well kept. We had a problem with them at first with billing issues and applying for Medicaid, but once we got it worked out, it was fine.

If I could give this place zero, I would. First day her personal cell phone was missing. Staff is crabby. Residents are soiled in feces a long time. They keep patients as long as they can just to get their money. Facility is cheap. Equipment in state of disrepair. Depressing.

recommend. My mom was there for numerous months. They ignored her uti for almost a week and also did not monitor her kidney function. I was begging them to check her for a uti and they had excuses for almost 4 days for why they couldn’t test her. By the time they tested her she was too dehydrated to get any urine. She has a kidney transplant, so the dehydration caused her to have acute damage to her kidney. Her creatine levels skyrocketed. Thank god she is out of there. They put band aids on bad situations and are severely understaffed.

My Mom stayed here because of medicaide. Crappy! Rooms, are ugly and not very clean. While the nursing staff are pretty nice, there isn't enough of them to go around and therefore, your loved one will sit and wait and wait for any care needed. The whole place, overall is depressing! The common room where you can take your loved one for a family lunch or dinner are awful...loaded with crap and boxes of stuff everywhere. The same rubber glove lay on the floor in one of those rooms for a whole week before housekeeping cleaned it up! Then,, to make matters worse, a nursing assistant threw my Mom's glasses in with the sheets to the laundry and we never go them back! That was in February of this year, now I'm trying to get hem to reimburse my Mom for the new ones she had to buy, and of course, can't get anyone to even call me back. I know they're hoping we'll get tired of trying and just forget about it, but we won't...I've had to hire a lawyer just to get them to pay for the $400. she had to put out for new glasses! Don't EVER sen your loved one here...they do not care!!!

An absolute DUMP! The help was deplorable; the place was deplorable and depressing. Would rather take my loved one in my home and give home care than to trust to this absolute DUMP! The nursing staff is sparse; the assistants are sparse and have no clue what they are doing. Call buttons go unanswered. Place is filthy. Cannot believe they are 'ACREDITED.' How did that happen? Food is disgusting - imagine feeding beans of every variety to the elderly who can barely digest anything as it is.
