Terrible experience. Promises not met and overwhelmed staff. Large up front cost with no benefit if you need extra care. Had to move my parents out and they lost 2/3 of their retirement savings. LTC could be private pay up to $550 a day and their burkheart facility is ran by temp agency staff. Stay away from this place.

Health services needs daily onsite supervision of nurses and STNA. Low morale, poor communication, many staff seem apathetic, never observed gloves worn by staff serving and feeding customers. Dad's day nurse Sarah was great, she was the exception.

Mother in rehab. Diabetic given high sugar meals. Incision site not taken care of now has infection. Ulcers, bed sores, back in hosp looking at 2 more surgery. This place is a nitemare. Looked good at visit. DON'T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

First Community Village's layout is very good. They have a full slate of amenities from senior living through long term care, and they have social programs, a spa, swimming pool, and a dining room. My husband was at the healthcare wing for rehabilitation, and he would come and go for his operations.

My mother stayed at First Community Village for her rehab. The people that worked there were great. The nurses and the aids were very attentive. The environment was good. It was well kept and clean.

My sister-in-law had rehab at the First Village for two weeks. They were very, very nice and it was very clean. When we visited, everyone was very friendly and they were very willing to help every time we had questions. If I needed rehab, I would go to them.

Even though this health center is "rated" a 2 star, the staff provide 5 star care. The care my mother received during her recent stay on the short term rehabilitation unit was excellent. The nurses, therapist and other staff were so caring. If the renovation were completed, I would have rated First Community a 5 star. We did have a minor issue that was handled professionally and resolved immediately. My mother will be going back for rehab after her next surgery.
