"This place has been great for my Mom. After Mom got settled in her very nice and immaculately clean room she started rehab I fell in love with the staff. The staff was very nice and was able to work with my Mom to get her up to walk a few steps and to be able to sit in a wheel chair. For some this may not seem like much but for my Mom this was a dream come true because she had been bed bound, not able to even sit up in bed for over 5 months before coming here. She now has been transitioned into the long term care section and is happy. I am very blessed to have everyone at Universal of Lillington they have keep me informed the whole way and when I needed emotional support they were there for me too. Today my Mom is happy, well taken care of, social, she has stopped losing weight, she has color to her skin again, she has commutation and a social environment as well as the 24 hour nursing care that she needed. This has taken so much stress off of me to know that all the amazing people at Universal of Lillington are take care of my Mom. It brings me joy every visit to see her thriving in her new place. My Mom is terminal so I know nobody can fix her but Universal of Lillington's staff has made her life happy and I can't thank everyone enough, I will forever be grateful. "

"We moved my mother, post stroke, from a rehab in Huntsville, AL nearer to me and my family outside of Raleigh by ambulance. It was a long and tiring trip for my mother. The nurses and techs at Harnett Woods did everything to ensure my mom’s medications and care needs were addressed and did a great job making her comfortable in a new and unfamiliar environment. It has been 6 nights and that same level of compassion and care has carried forward. Rooms are clean with shared bathroom between 2 double rooms. They are refreshing all of the rooms, which were getting a little surface worn. All plumbing and equipment are well maintained and functioning. Meals are good and offer variety. My mother is currently bedbound so completely dependent on care from the staff. They go the extra mile to make sure she can contact them at all times. They bathe her daily with care and dignity. I could not be happier with Harnett Woods."

"My grandpa was here for nearly three years and while he did not like being alone during Corona, he loved riding the halls in his wheelchair and visiting with friends in this facility. My grandma and grandpa celebrated their 57 anniversary within a week of his passing and they were able to celebrate their love at a prom night where they were crowned king and queen while he was there. Our family felt a lot of love from the staff and we are so grateful to you for taking care of our grandpa! He was able to have his own room for most of his stay and I was always impressed when visiting with the cleanliness. There are no complaints from our family, we will forever be thankful. "

"My aunt is in Cornerstone Nursing Home (Cornerstone Nursing and Rehab), and she loves it there. It is good. She has a room just like the one she has at the house. It has a single bed, and it is like a college dorm. The sanitation is really good. They have lots of activities. They have church on Sundays and all kinds of classes going. However, they need more nurses at night because when my wife had a knee replacement, she was in there for two weeks. They placed something to keep her knee moving at night, and when she needs to get to the rest room, she cannot because of that thing. She twists, it really mess up her leg, and she can't get a nurse. "I went to Windsor Point. They seemed very organized. They had a lot of activities. It was very clean. The room was typical. We looked at a two-bedroom with two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. They had a stove in each one of them. A lot of the apartments don't have stoves, but they do. The staff who toured us was very outgoing. I think she related very well to my mother-in-law, who was very difficult, so she did a good job of that. They had outdoor space, and they had an indoor pool, which was nice. Even with the buy-in there, the rent there is cheaper than most others."

"My Grandfather developed some very serious health problems, and the hospital where he was staying recommended Liberty Commons for extended care . Their facilities are very nice and well taken care of. I have spent time there talking to the residents and staff, he is receiving the great care in an awesome environment. I have seen and tested the food and it is satisfactory as well and they provide many activities for the residents. My family has also always been welcome. "

"The care my mother received there was second to none. She was reclusive by nature, but the staff went out of their way to engage her. The food manager would come and ask her what she wanted to eat b/c for a time she would not eat. And she made specific food just for her to make her feel special, and she did eat! When she passed away, the were totally compassionate and caring. I could always visit whenever I wanted to or whenever my mom needed me. "

"My mother was at Rex Rehab for three weeks. They're very impressive. Personnel there was great with my mother. My mother speaks Spanish and she was happy that there were a few people there who spoke Spanish, so that made her feel more comfortable. Physical therapy worked with her and everything was great. The location was really nice, too. The staff were very helpful and attentive and communicated well. The facility was spacious, clean, well maintained, looked very new, and all the nurses and everyone who treated my mother seemed to be very genuine, understanding, and very friendly. "

"Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab Center was fine. The room that we went to where my aunt was in was very nice and very large. It had a sofa and a regular chair. Her bathroom was right there, too. She was there for probably six months or so. My family really liked Whispering Pines. The staff were very nice, very calm, and very responsive. Personal care was excellent. They were very nice people and very skilled. They had activities. In fact, there was a question of participating in the religious services there. The only thing we needed to do was make sure that she was dressed appropriately for the services. We wanted to make sure that she didn't have on scrubs because it was a religious service. We wanted to make sure that she had an outfit rather than a nursing gown. We want to make sure she was dressed nicely, and they were very kind and said that's wonderful. She was in the rehab because she'd had a stroke. The place was nice and clean, and we knew exactly where we were going. When I say nice and clean, it didn't smell. There was no odor and no offensive odor at all. Even though she had a stroke, she was very able to to talk to express her ideas. We did ask her about the food, and we saw the tray which was an adequate amount of food."

"If you are looking for a place to put your loved one this is the place! The hospital said they had no room but I went by and Cynthia said we do! They had mom moved from the hospital that same day! We were pleased with her care. Maria & Manwella took great care of her. Mom really enjoyed the bingo and church service among other things. They kept the room clean and saw to make sure she had the best care. She had good food as well. Thank you to all the staff for her care! You all are like family now."

"My dad has been in the locked memory care wing for just over a year. The staff has been unbelievably great, always taking a moment for me if I have a question, concern, or dad needs help toileting. The food was mediocre, but has gotten pretty good over the last several months and continues to improve. There are twice-monthly group meetings for family members, and quarterly in-depth one-on-one health care meetings. I've visited the facility at least 100 times, and have smelled human waste on maybe only two occasions - very impressive. "

"My mother is staying at Westfield Rehabilitation & Health Center, and I was impressed. The place is clean. The staff is friendly to my mom. If I had to say anything negative, it would be the quality of the food. It's not the way it's prepared, they probably just have a limited budget for the quality of food that they could order. I think that's why it has a low rating because the food is just like anywhere you go. Even if we go dining out anywhere, you have the food. But I like what I see so far. Mom's been in that facility, and she's on short-term rehab; we are looking for long-term placement. So far, our experience has been positive, but we're in there also. We're so blessed to have our care attendants still assisting my wife and me with coverage, just not as much coverage because she is in the facility. We're able to support staff, we're present inside the facility, we're an active family. We have a good review, and I would recommend Westfield in Sanford. The place is run well. It's professional, clean, and the staff is friendly. Just minus the food, it's a home run. But I do know there is a waiting list for a long-term bed; we're hoping to get in there. The room is cleaned daily. The temperature is kind of cold in there; the air conditioner works very well. The TV is a little bit outdated, it's not the top quality, like crystal clear. It's pleasant in there. It doesn't look like so much of an institution, I kind of like that. The room is just perfect. Now, she is in a single room, so she is fortunate to have privacy and plenty of space in the bath. It's a perfect room for senior care, especially with my mom. She's a little on the heavy side and she does have an oxygen machine. PTs coming in there once and twice a day. There's a refrigerator in there, and they clean the bed. She's on steady oxygen, and the CPAP machine. She needs full assistance with transfer from bed, to a chair, and the toilet. We haven't had any issues so far since our admission. I have doubts about these ratings sometimes; most people will run away from the place if you see a one-star compared to other facilities. But we liked what we saw, and we're present there. We're putting in eight hours a day in this facility so we could see what's going on at different hours, too. It's great to get here to all the protocols, especially with the COVID; sign in, sign out with the mask. My mother is in quarantine for 14 days for new admission, that's the procedure. We're very happy with the professionalism, the cleanliness, the attitude, and the care that my mom's given. We're very thankful to be there. The only negative again would be the food. So, that would be the only kicker. The food is not a five, but I don't want to give a wrong impression like everything's perfect; nothing's perfect, so to speak. More and more important, food is food. Eat, it goes in, goes out. But with care, that's something you're always going to remember. How people speak to and treat you, that's what you are going to remember."

"I am staying in The Templeton of Cary's independent living, and I'm very happy here. Everyone, including the residents, is so kind, caring, and very friendly. It's just a happy place to be. If you get lonely or down and out, you just leave your apartment and go find something to do. There's always something to do here, which is a great thing. Having the main dining room and everybody meeting in there helps, too. You have good meals, camaraderie, and friendliness. It's just a great place and I made the right choice, there is no doubt about it. The staff is top-notch. They're all just as friendly as the residents are. I think it makes sense because if the residents are happy, that must be because of the people in charge. They all know you by name, and call you by your first name. They're all wonderful. They're all very caring, and ready to help no matter what, even with something trivial. I haven't found one person here who isn't like that, so that's a good thing. I think the food could use some work. I like my food hot and it's never hot. Sometimes warm, but never hot. I know that's hard with a big crowd but that's how I want it. Everything is always spanking clean including the public restrooms all around the area. They're always spotless no matter what time of day or night you go."
