Nursing Home Communities in Monett, MO

"Cassville Health Care and Rehab has to be one of the best facilities around here. My grandmother was submitted into this facility years ago where she lived her normal daily life. She was taken care of the way she would have been in her own home. She smiled as much as she did when she was home. I was aloud to spend as much time with her as i wanted, and i could feed her as well so it was like she was still home. The food there was convienent and tasted great. my grandma was showered whenever she wanted one and was able to use her restroom as well whenever she needed to. The nurses were very respectful and kind to all the residents equally and treated each resident with respect as well as there coworkers and visitors. My mother wasn't too fond of placing my grandmother in a nursing facility because my mother was a nurse and seen how some nurses could be towards there residents but we visited Cassville Health Care and Rehab before placing my grandmother here and the overall facility was unbelievable a grand place. I used to ask my grandma how her day or night was and she responded with "It couldn't have been better child." It made my day knowing my grandma was safe and happy! My grandma had a close friend whom she shared her bedroom with so she wasn't always alone. I like Cassville Health Care and Rehab because it has two dining rooms -- One to eat, and one for the residents to do whatever they wanted on there own time such as watch t.v, or play board games. My favorite part was rounding a few residents together and taking them to the second dining room and playing a board game with them. They really loved that. The nursing facility is always kept clean and organized. All the residents and staff are very good, delighted people. I give full respect to each and everyone of them. "

"My husband seems to be doing a little better at Roaring River Health & Rehabilitation Center (formerly Red Rose Health & Rehabilitation Center). They seem to be doing pretty well with him. He doesn't act out as much as he was. If they can get him up at all, they take him to the dining room. They either help them eat or they eat themselves. He's in a locked down unit because he was wandering around in his wheelchair. The facility seems to be OK. They have a beautiful area where families can go and visit with the residents. Some of the people color and do things like that. He eats very well. They clean the place about every shift. It's older."

"My mother was at Medicalodges Neosho. They got a lot of people and a lot of workers doing all kinds of different things. There is a lot to manage there when they have 90 residents in all different levels of what their care. Hats off to them because they can get it all done! My mother was there for two months in rehab. The first five days she was in a room with another lady, and they remained friends the rest of the time she was there. After the first five days, they moved her to a large single room. It is a private room, and it has a very nice lazy boy chair that I slept in for two months. They allowed me to come and go and be there with her. They had good food. They also gave them choices to pick from for their menus. It was all paid by Medicare so I didn't see a bill. Their physical therapist was excellent. Most of the help were cheery and helpful."

"My mother is already settled in St Luke's Nursing Center. The lady that was the head of it, was why I kind of decided to put my mother in there because she seemed caring and earnest. They have church two or three times a week and bingo. And then they have all kinds of activities. I think they even hold meetings to see the residents there voice their complaints, or their compliments, or whatever you want to say. They have parties and do lots of crafts, and they do exercise, there's a physical therapy place where she goes and does physical therapy every day, which has made her stronger. They keep them actively involved. My mother said the food is good. It's an older place, but they do keep it renovated and cleaned up. There are a few little things that I'm not happy about, they say, they wash her sheets like for me every week and they don't, so I just take them down there and wash them and, so I got a little complaint there, and I think they could probably go in there and keep her apartment a little cleaner. Because sometimes I'll go in there and I'll mess with it myself. So on that part of it, I'm just not happy with it."

"We have placed my mom into a nursing home called Sonshine Manor. She likes it. She's happy there. It's clean. They're friendly. They're good to her. My mom's room has a standard-sized bathroom and a shower. It has closets, a bed, and lots of shelves, so she can put pictures and things. The room is clean. It's just an ordinary room though. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. My mom likes the food. They have things for them to do, but my mom is just starting to participate in things. With regards to value for money, it's just average compared to everybody else."

"My mother has been in Republic Nursing & Rehab for two years now. The people there are very, very good. My mother has onset dementia, so she takes a little extra care. They just do wonderful with her. They always keep them busy. What impressed me was when COVID came about, the fact that they locked it down for over a year. The activities girls would go in their rooms and do skits or they take them out. When they were locked down, they wouldn't even let them out of their rooms, so they took the entertainment to them. They're private pay, and they're Medicaid. They're very clean and very safe with COVID. They've got the big cafeteria. They've got an excellent rehabilitation staff. They worked diligently with her. When she got there, she wasn't able to stand up and take any steps; now she can. They take Medicaid and in this day and age, it's important to know that."
