Lacoba Homes wouldn't take my husband. They weren't equipped to handle people who act out. It's a very clean and nice place and the staff was very nice to us. They were doing things at a table, like puzzles and cards and things like that. It was a very good facility. It's beautiful, and they keep the smells down.

My advice is do not take a friend or relative to this facility. The rehabilitation staff are great and the nursing aides are very good. The quality of nursing at the upper level should be addressed, I was told by my parent's physician that if it this was his father, he would move them to a different facility as soon as possible. I wish I had done so.
