My husband seems to be doing a little better at Roaring River Health & Rehabilitation Center (formerly Red Rose Health & Rehabilitation Center). They seem to be doing pretty well with him. He doesn't act out as much as he was. If they can get him up at all, they take him to the dining room. They either help them eat or they eat themselves. He's in a locked down unit because he was wandering around in his wheelchair. The facility seems to be OK. They have a beautiful area where families can go and visit with the residents. Some of the people color and do things like that. He eats very well. They clean the place about every shift. It's older.

I thought it was a horrible place.My grandma wasn't toke care of very well.She had memory lose and would scream a lot and they would tell her to stop.She didn't know what she was doing.They also cut her hair really short and it looked like a little kid had cut it.She loved her hair and would of had a fit if she knew they had done that plus i witness other residents that would say they were hungry and the nurses would tell them they couldn't have any more food.Plus there would be residents left in the same spots all day long they would only get them up to go eat then put them right back where they were there was no interaction with them.It was like it was only a job to them like they were a product not someones loved one.I will never let anyone i care about be placed in that nursing home.
