I'm now in a nursing home at Sarcoxie Nursing Center. It's very nice. The staff members are great. They are excellent. They can talk to you when you're upset or if you need someone to just listen to you. They do that very well here. If there's a concern, they try to address it or help you address it. So that's what I like about it. They do things with you, and there are a lot of activities. If you get bored, it's your fault. The food is not very conducive to diabetic diets, but if you know what to look for, you can pick out what you want to eat. You get choices here; you don't just get served one thing. The facility itself could use a little renovation, but it's not bad. It's an old place, but they keep it very clean. We have bingo three times a week, we have church services or bible study come in two or three times a week, and I'm going to be helping with some of the activities in the evening in the future, like crafts, games, and stuff. They take them to town every other week, and they go shopping in between weeks. We played word games and things like that.
