"The Palms was great and clean. The staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. I like the view of the lake that they had. They have a store in there for the residents. They have a library. They also have a shuttle service that takes them to Walmart."

"I have had much experience with the Kenilworth Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home. I have had two close family members reside at this facility for over 3 years combined. My uncle and my grandmother were both residents and lived at the agency until they deceased. The three years which I had personal contact with this facility was definitely an eye-opener to the nursing home way of life. It is awful to see your loved ones helplessly laying in bed all day and feeling so dependent on others. Kenilworth, compared to some other agencies I have been exposed to, lack the activities and attention that their patients desperately need in order for them to still feel as though they are a part of the social community. The facility is very clean and the staff is very caring and compassionate. Overall, I was satisfied with their experiences, just wished they would have gotten the patients more involved. "

"My husband was recently discharged from Oaks At Avon. The nursing staff was overall very nice. The aid Nathen and Nurse Jenny are the best and always helped when needed. Therapy is great at getting you going. Food is ok, laundry services could use some work as they lose some clothes. Overall I'd recommend this place. "

"Most of the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. They took care of the residents fast but with courtesy. There were a few bad apples in the staff; they were too rough with residents, rude. All residents were taken care of and most were very happy. Meals were given with help offered and never meanly. Most residents needed help with most basic tasks yet all was taken care of without any fuss or complaints on both parts. The facility was very clean and so were the residents. With haircuts and nail care every week. They also had social time every day, whether it is bingo, karaoke, or meal times. Every person was addressed by their name and helped equally. The view out every rooms window was nice and they ever even building a bench swing. I believe over all facility was very good and clean and worked like a well-oiled clock with compassion added in. "

"mom has great service by all the staff. she is always taken care of without too long of a wait no matter what. it has good activities for an older person. food is good, i have eaten it myself. mom is in the rehab section. even administrator helps in the care or administration of help to my mom. rooms are small but clean."

"While nursing homes; expensive or for low income they are all the same with regards to smells, staff, food, etc. ....referring to the people that write reviews on here! People that complain specifically about the Groves should go to 3 nursing homes within a 5 mile radius and rate those nursing homes also because they are all the same. And yet they are not all the same, but the Groves is maintained well for a nursing home. My grandmother has been at the Groves for a couple of years now and she is well cared for. They have plenty of staff, the bedding is clean and changed, floors, bathrooms are clean. I have a lot of family that visits her and we have never had complaints. I look around at the other patients and feel sad that they are there whether they are in bed 24 hrs or wheeling themselves around, they do look well as much as possible for their age and current illness. "

"Grace Healthcare of Lake Wales was an older building, but it was the care that they gave to my mom that mattered to me. When she put her light on, there was somebody within a couple of minutes. When she needed something, they immediately tried to find someone who could help her. And they let us know about it. We ate there with her, and the food was very good; I would not mind eating it. As long as you did not have someone very picky, it was good food. She was doing marvelously, and was contented and happy there. "
