Wilson Assisted Living

So far, Wilson Assisted Living is fine. Mom has a roommate, so her room is a little small with two beds, but it's OK. It fits the purpose. Upkeep and maintenance are OK. I did notice around the edges the corners and the floor could use a little more cleaning. Otherwise, it seems to be fine. She's in memory care. They have activities posted and they seem to be in accordance with everyone else.

The facility was clean, the staff was attentive to the residents. The residents were given activities that were set to their level of abilities and some participated in the running of a snack store. Most of the residents appeared happy.

I visited Wilson Assisted Living. The facility is very neat and also made like an apartment complex. The facility is brick and home warming. When I first stepped foot into the facility I was amazed of how it was kept so neatly. The residents were sitting outside enjoying the weather and conversating to each other. There are staff outside with the residents keeping them company and making sure that they are doing okay, laughing and joking. I saw one the staff while laughing and joking hug one of the residents after the joke to comfort him. The residents are dressed so nicely and smells like the smell of clean clothes just coming out of the dryer. I went inside of the facility to see how they were living, when I entered, one of the staff where doing one of the residents hair and had two more residents waiting to get their hair done also. I asked the resident how she liked her hair and she replied, "I love my hair, she always does a good job". I think that the facility is a very awsome facility and the staff are very friendly and cares about the residents as if they were family. Visiting the facility lets you know that there really are good facilities out there, that will keep your family safe and taken good care of.
