My husband was in Navion of Rocky Mount for respite. What I like most is the fact that they were able to help me out very quickly. They were very accommodating in trying to resolve the issue that I had as it relates to a respite placement. He was fine when I got back. They always called to tell me if there were any incidents. They helped me work through getting him there and making sure that I had all of the things that he would need, all of the tests, and the information to make sure that he was going to be able to be cared for the way that he should be. They were just very helpful and quick to respond. If I called while I was away, they were able to give me information. I think they did as best they could with him while he was there. He was only there for 14 days. I had an opportunity to talk with their activities director. She tried really hard to get my husband involved. They did the best they could with the time that they had. I really do appreciate the social worker. She was absolutely amazing. I don't think I could have gotten through this without her. The staff that I interacted with were really helpful and just very accommodating. I have no complaints. It was a very nice facility. The respite room probably needs to have the carpet taken out, because it's kind of hard to get a smell out of a room if it's got carpet on the floor. The facility itself was wonderful. The respite room was amazing, the size of it, and the fact that he had his own bathroom. The only problem I had was the carpet. The hallways were bright, the areas where the residents congregate, and the sunroom. It's really a pretty place. It's pretty outside. The price was pretty much what I expected it to be, which I think was pretty fair. I think it was well worth it.

I liked them. The staff that I met was friendly and caring. I liked the way that when they come around, they give the residents their private time. They were good team members. I also liked that they had private rooms for their residents.

We toured here. The community itself was nice. The lady that gave us a tour was very well informed on information, on what we would have to do if we did decide to go there and what the amenities were. We were completely impressed with the whole tour. They showed us an apartment of a resident that was kept clean. They also had like a really clean showroom, too. Everything was clean. The staff was very nice. She knew the facility well. She knew what we had to do or what we didn't have to do. They have a courtyard, but it's completely closed in. It's like in the middle of the facility.

My friend moved into here. I liked the security of the place. The staff has been very good. They're very attentive to the residents. My friend's room has everything that he needs in it, and it's very cozy. It's large enough to really make him not feel shut in. The cook and the staff in the dining room are very friendly. The atmosphere is very good. It feels like home. He is adjusting well there. They have a bus that takes them out and they are not shut in all the time. They have physical exercises.

It was very nicely presented and the staff was well knowledged on people's needs and the facility. It was clean and orderly. In accordance of what was needed, it was fine. The dining room has nice chairs and they had a variety of activities; they go shopping together, play games together.

I visited here. My aunt and uncle were both residents of that community. The people are very caring, and it is very clean. I would highly recommend it. The staff is very nice, no problem with them whatsoever. She loved the food. The living accommodations are very nice. They had a 1-bedroom apartment. They had a lot of visitors within the community come by and visit and they were very comfortable. They have bingo and Christmas parties. She was very active in those.
