"Heritage Care of Elizabeth City was overcrowded and didn't have many activities. They certainly could use more staff. The rooms were small. There was no place to do anything in the room. Usually, there were two people in a room and so it was not conducive to good living, but they were doing their job and the people needed them. It's well-maintained and well-taken care of. It's clean and decent."

"Visiting Britthaven Of Tarboro Facility, where my dad lives is a great facility for residents to stay in. When I go visit my dad at the facility he is always happy to see me. My dad's room is a very nice size with a soft and comfortable bed for him to sleep in. He has a small refrigerator in his room to keep any snacks or any kind of food that he don't want to store in the facility's refrigerator. The residents living with my father at the facility are cool and fun to talk to. Some of the residents like to sit on the porch and and enjoy the weather. The staff always keep an eye on the residents, its always one or two around them at the most. Conversating with the staff lets you know that they are willing to help and be there for the residents. The resident's rooms are extremly clean, no cups or dinner trays in there rooms at all. My father has alot of friends that treat him like family, dad and the residents play cards and board games in the activity room like its there daily routine. I asks my dad, "What he like about the facility," he says that "The staff and the residents make him feel like home." Moving my dad to Britthaven's Facility makes me happy to know that he's always in good hands. "

"My sister was there about 8years in the Alziheimers unit. There were times I had to ask at the desk for some one to clean the bathroom, feces on toilet, clean sticky room floor from spills. My sister was left unatted by a worker named Jasmine, and she fell out of the wheel chair and broke the skin on her head. Jasmine was ask by the daughter not to leave her mother unattended. Failed many times while there and was taken to the hospital. A police report was filed but no actions were taken. My sister died while still living there in the hospital. Her daughter never received a condolance card from The Wilson facility. I would not send a dog there. The facility could use a complete over haul of stall workers especially Barbara the director. Annjanette, the supervisor is not doing her job of following up, on those she is suppose to be supervising and training. My sister was in Hospice and were in pain. I went to the desk to see if the nurse left medication for pain. The evening lady at the desk did not know my sister was in Hospice. What does that tell a family member? So very unprofessional.. "

"Lagrange Garden is a long way from us but the facility is clean. My brother is well taken care of, and he's happy. I asked him about the food and he says its good, and he's been putting on weight. Rooms are clean but it's not too big. "
