"My brother-in-law moved into here. They were very cooperative, very nice, extended their time, and answered all my questions, and they were very helpful. That's why we chose it. The staff was very helpful, Paula, Michael, and the nurse was Scott, they've been very helpful and my brother-in-law has been there almost a month, almost two months now. The dining area is very nice, it's in a bright area, it's big enough, and it's fine. The facilities were excellent and very clean. They have outings and game nights."

"I have visited Home Place. It's not very big. It seems to have a very personal staff, and they were very good at explaining things to me. I go there to a support group, so that's the one that I would be most interested in. It's very attractive, very clean, and seems that the staff is very happy, and I was very pleased. I know that they have a bus that takes them around, and they have in-house things going on. "

"I'm a resident of Courtyards at Berne Village. I think it's very nice. They have plenty of activities. They have a bus to take us to our doctors' appointments, to church, to the grocery store, to the drug stores, to shopping, and to outings. My room is an apartment-type. They don't have a swimming pool, but they have a place for exercising, and we also have a place for happy hour. The food is good too. All the staff members are always smiling and are very helpful. They take it upon themselves to come by and check on you if you're feeling sad."

"We toured The Gardens of Trent. We toured the entire facility. It was very nice. It was clean. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I think the manager, her name was Kris, and she was very informative. She walked us around and answered all of our questions. I had a very good experience there. The dining area was nice. It was well laid out for COVID safety as well. Everything was spaced out and there were some TVs in there, and people sitting together, and it was nice. It was a little dreary. There was no carpeting on the floor, so it was very cold. They could use an upgrade with some decorations and some carpeting on the floor. The other thing that I wasn't happy about was that they didn't have the ability for the residents to have TVs in their room. There was no cable or internet going into the facility. I asked if I brought my mom there if I could bring a TV for her, and they said that was fine, but there's no cable coming into the building. I wasn't really happy about that. The rooms were clean. They were cold. But they said if you wanted to bring in carpeting and curtains and things like that, you could bring stuff in for the room. They showed us a single room and a double room, and they were both a nice size, they were big enough. They had their own bathroom and a closet. A lot of people bring in their own blankets and mattresses just so that the residents can be more comfortable, and that was nice to hear. Everything looked very clean. They had just taken down some decorations and they were getting ready to redecorate for springtime. The grounds seemed like they were very well-kept. Everything was clean, neat, and very orderly. The staff mentioned that there was a salon. The staff were all very nice and very friendly. Everybody who walked by spoke to us."

"My mother has found a place to stay, and she is staying at The Viridian. It's a nice place. It's brand new. They have private rooms. My mother wanted a private room, and they went out of their way to help her to make her feel at home. She seems to be happy. She has been there for a week and a half now. The staff are very friendly, and they go out of their way to make my mom feel comfortable. I've seen the food. I went in when my mom was eating. She is picky. They had a porkchop and it was sort of tough, so she didn't like it that much, so they brought her a nice salad with ranch dressing, which was her favorite, so she was happy. If there's any time that she's not happy with the food, then she can always have a salad or soup. The food looks good. They also bring her snacks three times a day. She doesn't have to fix anything; it's all fixed for her. My mom played some games that they had, and she was really happy that she had won a blanket and a calendar. It was something like bingo. They've taken her out on some kind of tour, too, in their van. She went out with a few of the other ladies, and she had a good time. They just need to pull her out of her shell because she's in one. It is a little bit expensive, but it's all-inclusive. Nothing is extra. Everything is included. They have TV and cable. We did have to buy the TV, but she has cable, and she can watch all kinds of stuff and that's all included, and that makes her happy, too. It's a nice place. "

"I like the staff at Croatan Village. I also like the fact that they have apartments. They have a two room apartment that has a living room, kitchen, and a bedroom. They also have one room unit available, so that was nice about them. I also like that at night every two hours, they go in each resident's room and check on them to make sure that everything is OK. We are now on their waiting list. "
