Senior citizen age group. This is a small home. Mixed population. Primarily females reside in the home, occasionally male residents. We do not accept residents that use a wheelchair. A cane or Walker is acceptable. The residents are quiet and enjoy relaxing, television, reading, knitting. This is NOT an active community with lots of activities and events. Residents are welcome to schedule events with their own family and friends. The residents here are older and are not very active. For those who are able, outings are scheduled and typically occur one time per month to the NC State Fair, local stores, movies, plays, and lunch in the park. All tours must be verbally confirmed via telephone with a teammate at Peach Tree Assisted Living Homes. We do not permit unscheduled unconfirmed tours.

For those who wish to participate (never required) we offer scheduled guided meditation and chair yoga. Table activities such as arts and crafts and coloring. Soft music in your room. Very quiet and peaceful activities.

NC State Fair and local stores. Most of our residents are unable to leave the home unattended.
What transportation services does Peach Tree Assisted Living Homes offer to assisted living residents?
We provide transportation to local doctor appointments that our team members schedule for a small fee. Any appointments scheduled by the resident or their family, we require advanced notice and may or may not be able to accommodate. We also transport residents to and from team scheduled outings.

We offer a variety of meal choices. A typical menu consists of a choice of one meat, two vegetables, dinner roll, and drink.

We are not a locked home. General door locks as in any single family home.

We communicate via text, telephone, or email. Each family has a different preference that we honor and respect.
What is the care staff-to-resident ratio at Peach Tree Assisted Living Homes during daytime and nighttime hours?
We do not provide 24/7, round the clock supervision to any resident. If your loved one requires supervision round the clock the family is responsible for hiring and paying a private one to one sitter while your loved one resides in our home. We always have one team member staying overnight and one team member in the home during the day. The daytime teammate runs errands and takes residents to appointments. The other two residents remain at the home. Most of the time there is one teammate still at the home when the other is running errands, but NOT always. To ensure your loved one receives adequate time and attention, we accept only three residents at anytime.

Quarterly Senior Care training. Alzheimer's and dementia training. Fall risk, sanitation and safety training is ongoing.

We are not a locked home. We don't accept clients that wander.
