Our 85 year old Mom has been here for almost a year....We could not be more pleased with the place or the care she has received.......Susan, Kevin, Steph, John and the entire staff are just the best ! ...Very homey and like extended family...And the meals are exceptional !....Highly recommend

Advocate for those that can't

I would think long and hard before placing a loved one here. Entering the front door finds the same people in the same places everyday, unstimulated, gazing glassy eyed at the television which generally was on a low budget talk show... Staff often are sitting around in the diningroom talking amongst one another rather then sharing a conversation with those needing their attention. For a facility this small the cleanliness has little to be desired, not only are the residents neglected the facility is also.

My experience with the Manluis Home for Adults and Assisted Living Program has been one of great professionalism and genuine care. It is clear that the facility staff truly cares about the residents and goes to great lengths to ensure their comfort, safety and happiness. I would highly recommend this facility to any friend or member of my family.

My experience was nothing but excellent with the staff there. They were very helpful when my grandfather was in the hospital and I had to stop by the home for some of his items. The owners of the facility were also very excellent when my grandfather returned after the normal admit hours. They made sure to get him cleaned up and settled back in along with a hot meal.
