The Retreat Gardens

The visit at The Retreat Gardens was very nice. It was a nice place. The people were very friendly. We thought it would be good for my mother to be in a place where there was more people for more interaction. We really like the way that they had escalated care if necessary. It was very high on our list in terms of where we might want to move her. The staff members were very good.

My sister moved into Retreat Villas, and she seems to be doing well. It's a beautiful community with caring people. They have different things for the resident, they have music where people come in to play, and they have a variety of things to do. The food was quite tasty and the portions were properly sized. They have amenities like a library, and a large TV in the central waiting room area where you can sit, visit with people, and watch TV. There's also another little area where you can sit and visit. They have juices whenever you want some, it's pretty nicely setup, and they put snacks out with the cookies, brownies, bags of chips, and so on. The staff is great, and the facilities are all very good. They seem to be giving good value for the money. They have three different buildings in this area and this one is literally a new building.
