My father is at CareOne at Moorestown - SNF. I like it. The first thing that drew me to them was the fact that, according to their website, they were a five-star facility. When I spoke with them in regard to getting my dad transferred, they were very proactive and readily available. They reached out to the facility where he was to start the transfer. They made sure that everything he was going to need was available on-site. Before we even started the process, they asked a million questions regarding his diagnosis, his situation, what's going on, some background, his likes and dislikes, and what the doctors are recommending, so that they can make sure that they would fully be able to assist him and whatever he needed. Once they knew they were a good fit for him, and he was eligible for them, they started the process immediately, which for me meant a lot. Prior to him going in, they had me come out to do a tour of the facility before he even went there to make sure that I was comfortable with him being there. So, I toured this facility. I met the staff, and I met the nurses. I had seen all the activities and everything that they had. To me, it's very warm, very friendly, and very inviting. I couldn't see anything else that would be a better fit. I have tried their food, and it was delicious. I don't think I've had anything I didn't like. According to my dad, there were a few things that he didn't like. He just said that their food could use more flavor. My dad is Hispanic, so he is all about very rich flavor when it comes to cooking. However, from what I had there, their food seemed pretty decent. Their desserts were delicious; I would definitely say that. They have a lot of activities. They have live entertainment, game days, theater nights, movies and popcorn, and stuff like that. They have arts and crafts, bingo, and games. They actually have a horse ranch right on the side of their facility. They bring the horses by so the residents can pet them and stuff like that. They have a lot for them, and they're very interactive.

Received excellent care from the entire staff at this this facility after being hospitalized for a fall. After a few weeks of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, I was able to return safely home. The staff communicated well with each other to ensure patient needs were met. Delicious meals were prepared and delivered three times a day to each room. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were always kept clean. I recommend this facility to everyone. Thank you,

CareOne, while beautiful in brick and mortar, the acute care itself was very poor. Although there were a few very good aids, they were extremely overworked & underpaid. I saw many of the patients being neglected because of understaffing. There were also some aids that were simply TERRIBLE- untrained - careless! Personal care was hit/miss and if not for family members, my father would not have received the attentiveness he needed until he died. Often he would have to wait up to an hour to be changed, sitting in his own excrements because he was paralyzed from a stroke. (And that was when I was there- I cannot imagine how long he waited when I was not.) He got an infection from the feeding tube to which they told me the oozing was food, not infection. (which I had to prove was an infection and I was right) They also over-medicated him until it was caught by the family. When confronting the administration about the poor care and understaffing, they could Care Less. It was all about the bottom line $$ and the minimum they were required by NJ law to do. The name really needs to be changed to CARENONE! I would NOT recommend sending a loved one to the acute care wing. I cannot speak of the assisted living wing- that I do not know. Unfortunately, there is little to zero accountability and there needs to be.

We had Mom in CareOne in Moorestown for rehabilitation. They were very good. The activities were wonderful. The staff did the best they could. The physical therapy was very good. They were very caring, very friendly, and attentive. Their dining facility was lovely, although my mother didn't use it. We ate there and we had Thanksgiving there. The facility was nice and the food was average.

My mother was in CareOne at Moorestown for rehab. It was terrible. I would go up, and she would be covered in feces. They were on the floor, and in the toilet. I couldn't get any information from the medical staff the whole time she was there. The staff was very non-caring, she said the food was horrible, and it looked awful. It was very upsetting.

CareOne was very nice. My late husband stayed there in July, August and September of last year. I lived nearby and I do know from their reputation that it was highly rated. The place was clean, the care and the staff were very nice. However, like every place, they have excellent employees but some weren't as quite as excellent. By and large though, it was a very nice place. I was there probably about six or seven hours a day so I knew the type of care people were getting. I could see other patients, a lot with Parkinson's, etc., and they got very good care. They had very good physical therapy center. They were very nice. The food was also good. I would definitely recommend them and there's not many that I would recommend.

I was looking a place for my husband because he has moderate dementia. I visited CareOne and I think it is run by effective people. The facility is organized, quiet and clean. They have different levels of care. Their rooms are adequate in terms of size. They do have activities for their residents. It is a very good facility. The only issue I have with it is that it is expensive and that I couldn't see my husband being comfortable there at all.

The facility itself is very nice. There is plenty to do for the individuals living there so as to keep them from being inactive. They have a nice game room that has slot machines and a pool table as well as a very nice TV room. The issue that I have with it is the staff. Repeatedly we have asked for simple things for my grandfather and they are either extremely slow to provide or don't provide at all. There have even been certain situations where it has been a medical need and the care providers have been completely negligent and lazy. When we spoke to the Patient Advocate, it seemed that the care even became worse. I think that it is ridiculous that, for the price that we pay for my grandfather to stay there, his care providers are this lazy and are unwilling to provide the care that he needs.
