My wife as been at HV for two months. Seeing her and the other 16 residents of her “neighborhood” (one of four units) is always sad but comforting. There are often activities in progress for the residents in the huge, well-lit lobby. When not engaged there, the vast majority of the residents are in the common room, where the attendants assure their safety and provide their meals and snacks. A few residents prefer to pace the hallway or watch TV in the library. When my wife and I go for walks we always encounter at least one of the directors and each clearly knows her and how she is doing. They interact with her as though she was a normal person, despite her severe disability. I can leave without worrying about her care.

My dad will be moving into Harmony Village at CareOne Stanwick Road. The main thing that we noticed was their focus on memory care. The gentleman that we met (who was the marketing director) has been very supportive in our transition. We saw examples of the rooms that my dad would be in. We took a tour of the common areas. We are encouraged by the level of attention that they give. It seems to be a warm environment. They divide the entire community into sections, and they group the residents by their level of need. It gives the residents a feeling that they're not in a place where they don't belong. It was a standout layout that we took notice of, and we definitely feel that it's going to be a benefit for my father. Each one of the neighborhoods that the residents live in is isolated from other neighborhoods. Each one of them has its own courtyard. They have an outside area with benches and nice gardens. The caretakers that take care of the residents are unique to each one of the divisions, so the residents get to know them specifically. We are encouraged by that.

CareOne Harmony Village at Moorestown has four quadrants, and is nice, airy, bright, and they take Medicaid. We're on a waiting to list to get in there. They have huge fireplaces that the residents can sit by. They have an ice cream bar right in the middle of the facility and a place to walk outside in nice weather. It's just a decent layout for memory care. The person who showed me around there was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

I toured CareOne Harmony Village at Moorestown, and the residents were doing sing-along when I got there. They had a dementia wing, which was what I was looking for. Everybody was really nice. The place was very homey and comfortable. The dining area was nice and clean. The staff that assisted me was very helpful.

I visited CareOne Harmony Village At Moorestown. It was very nice, but the rooms themselves for residents were rather small. The residents were very pleasant, but the area was limited to a much smaller space than I anticipated. There was one big gathering room or general area, and then they had a larger area when you first walk in. I did get to see a lot of residents hanging out in the great room. They did provide a shuttle at a cost, but they also have a doctor on staff.

My wife is happy at Harmony Village. She's been there since September. It's a nice community, it's clean, and the staff is helpful. The price is atrocious and too expensive. The staff is good, and they're all very pleasant. I don't have any issues with them. The place appears to be adequate. The food is pureed, but my wife likes it. She cleans her plate every day, so I guess she likes it, but they need more exercise. It does not have what I consider an adequate exercise program. The neighborhood is quite upscale, and it's in a very upper class area.

My husband is in CareOne Harmony. Everything is going very well so far. I think the services are quite adequate. The food and the dining area are fine. I like the fact that they have residents in the different areas depending on their levels of need, care or ability. They say my husband is the highest functioning dementia patient they have there. His dementia is a result of a stroke. The only problem is the expense.
