My dad lived at Jacob's Home Care for nearly a year and we could not have found more caring people than Camelia and her staff. There could be a max of 5 residents there but there was usually 2-3. He grew up on a farm so being "in the country" helped him to feel at home. Towards the end he moved to the Jacobs Ladder location which was closer to my home. They knew him so well in such a small setting that they knew how to head off a lot of the anxiety moments. There are so many examples that I could give about their care and respect for his love of God. In the last 3 days they knew the exact needs of us and him. The locations were super clean and dad enjoyed the food and attention. They treated our dad as they would have treated their own fathers

My mother passed away very sudden, I was faced with so many choices being her only living child. It was so overwhelming and all I wanted was my mom. The lovely ladies at Jacobs ladder talked with me, made me so comfortable, made me food at midnight, and I just felt so loved. I can not praise this lovely place enough working in healthcare myself it’s always the first place I recommend if those hard choices are needing to be made. I will never forgot their love and compassion to not only my mother but me as well. With love ❤️

If Heaven had a waiting room, it would be Jacob's Ladder. The care they provided was beyond humanly possible. It was God at work in that place. They took care of my dad and allowed me to be just a daughter. Lydia would stay up all night next to my dad so I could rest. Tanya would sit and listen to me ramble, cry, and tell stories about my dad. Myndie was so helpful and resourceful. But most of all, I hope everyone meets a Camelia in their lives. God put this ministry on her heart and she is beyond amazing.

My mom was at Jacobs Ladder, End Of Life Care Home and she has passed away, but it was wonderful. It was a good place for her. It was a very small place, individually owned, I believe, and she had very good care. She was there for a little bit less than two months. It was a higher level of care. It was residential, and somebody stayed with her the whole time. They only take up to five people, and it's for dementia patients because there was so much work for them. Actually, at the time she was in there, there were only two other people, so a total of three. They were wonderful. It was private care. They had activities but mom didn't participate in too many things. It was just mostly one-on-one care. My sister and I stayed with her just about every day. She did a little artwork and stuff like that, but nothing major. It was like being in your own home. They had a nice living room. It was a house that they had turned into a facility. It had beautiful grounds on the backside. They had a patio and a little koi pond and things so she could go outside and sit, weather permitting. They made all home-cooked food. The lady that owned it did all the cooking, and it was a great place. I can't say enough good stuff about it.
