I went to Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I didn't like that one as much, just because it wasn't just assisted living. It had a nursing home and other care, too. I just wanted all assisted living or apartment-style living. It was close to my house. It was clean and everything, but I was looking for socialization on the assisted living side, and they didn't have a lot of clients over there, so my brother would seem isolated, even though he would have had the freedom. Most of the clients were on the skilled nursing side, and he just wouldn't have had the socialization I was looking for. The lady during the tour was very, very nice, friendly, and very informative. The nursing home part was fine. They had plenty of people on that side, and they seemed to be well cared for from what I could see from the briefness of the visit. It's definitely spacious. Of all the places that I've been, they had a lot of room. Two beds fit in there and you have room to personalize it.

My relative is at the Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The facility is clean. The staff is very friendly. They seem to care about the patients. The food appeared to be good. The building is fairly new. It is all on one level. They have a courtyard, a garden, and a nice parking lot. I like the fact that they know my relative by name. He's greeted by name, and they seem to care about him. It's conveniently located. It is not too far from where I live.

My mother is in Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It's nice and clean. I haven't seen anything wrong yet. The staff is on point. They've got some things they're working on, but from what I've seen, they're pulling it together. It's two to a room, but they have single rooms as well. They deal with medicines. It is all skilled nursing. They have a patio setting and an area for smokers. I talked to a lady there, and she seemed to be on top of her job. She's doing what I'm asking her to do. I got my mother a little Alexa entertainment sound system, and they set it up for her. They're pretty consistent and they do whatever it takes to accommodate the residents there.

The facility is clean and well staffed. The staff is very friendly and they remember the visitors. There was some recent construction at Christian Care Home making many improvements. The facility interior no longer has a 'hospital' feel to it. It has many touches of 'home', like paintings and other wall art. The walls aren't just white anymore as the individual rooms are painted yellow-gold. The main hallways are white tho. There's a few tables and chairs that one would find at home, not at a hospital. I really like the dining area, it was redone. It has wood flooring and new wooden tables and chairs. I like the new design because it makes everyone quite comfortable with their surroundings. There are many activities to do which are posted on a large board near the nurse's station for all to see so the residents aren't just in their rooms all day with the television blaring. The residents do have an option to opt out of activities if they wish. Overall, everyone seems to be happy and staff are doing their jobs.
