The Rosemount Senior Living at Steeple Center

My tour experience with The Rosemount Senior Living at Steeple Center was good. We were met by the staff, welcomed, and we were given a good tour around. We couldn't see a unit because they were full. They didn't have any empty ones, but my mom had a good feel for the overall activities and the cleanliness of the place. She said it felt homier. It's attached to a community senior center. So, there's not only the activities at The Rosemount, but it's all the activities that go on in the attached senior center. The staff were very very nice people. They have a big community room which they use for activities, movies, and church services. It can also be reserved by families if they want to do a family get-together. They had a crafting room and a pub and that's like their casual hangout space. The chef was doing some cooking demonstrations while we were there. Then they've got a little cafe where they can meet for coffee and cookies in the afternoon, plus the full dining room. The other thing that was nice for them is they were affordable compared to some of the others.

My sister is a resident at The Rosemount. I am her brother. I go visit my sister weekly. For over a year I have had the pleasure of observing and experiencing the staff at the Rosemount. They are amazing. They work as a team and they are very passionate about making every day a positive experience for their residents. My sister and our entire family are very thankful for the love and care she is getting from the staff at the Rosemount! I hope there are many places like the Rosemount but I know there are none better!

My mother lived here for three years after living in two previous nearby facilities. She wasn't a social person but was always invited and encouraged to participate in activities, and eat in the dining room. I gave 'activities' 4 stars because there were many that mom didn't participate in - that I'm not familiar with. The entire staff were qualified, thoughtful, and attentive. She transitioned from Assisted Living to Care Suites and received the most attentive and amazing care throughout the process. The staff spent time listening to mom, and to me, adapting to mom's specific needs. The facility is beautiful! It has a personal, homey feel, rather than institutional. The Rosemount was the perfect home for mom's care!

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE!!! My Grandma was put in this home a little over a year ago for Rehabilitation after a surgery- Not only did this facility not assess her physical therapy, she is now 100% wheel chair bound after going through a very traumatic surgery in order for her to walk again. She has encountered numerous injuries during her stay- including stitches on her arm due to a broken toilet paper dispenser, that is probably still broken several months later, All of which I have documented with pictures and the really sad part is, all concerns were brought to Managements attention, including Directors of this facility but unfortunately, they shrugged it off. There is absolutely NO communication in this place. It is an absolute disgrace. Our Family had a Unique situation - unfortunately, they did not care. After numerous opportunities waiting for things to change and by the time I had seen & had enough, they decided that they would call the cops on me and put a Tresspass Order on me so i would no longer be allowed on the grounds to visit her. They have literally destroyed my Family with their lies. If i could give this a NO STAR Review, i would but it would not allow me to post without at least a one star review. They have had a few Interns of such that have been wonderful, but they don't seem to stay long.........
