The Lodge in Mendota is nestled into wonderful neighborhood just blocks to the Village of Mendota Heights. "The main reason we didn't take Ecumen Seasons for my mother-in-law is because they didn’t have any one-bedrooms available. They only had a two-bedroom, and you have to be on their waiting list until a one-bedroom came up. It has everything included into the price, and it would have been the most convenient for us because we live in Apple Valley. They have a lot of activities at this location. It was the most expensive of the ones we looked at, and they had the most things available, but they had a lot of meals included also, which is something that we learned from the past would be wasted, and they didn't have any one-bedroom available. So that was also a reason to not go with them, because the smallest thing they had available immediately was a two-bedroom. They were very nice and thoroughly explained everything, so it was good. It was a nice place, not just the right one. "

"The staff is Absolutely fabulous and truly caring - it felt like a second family. Sylvia, the facility Director is beyond exceptional. There are no words to describe how wonderful she is. Christine the nurse just started when my mom went to the facility did an outstanding job with everything she had to learn and take on. Alex who leads activities is calm, caring and goes beyond her role. We were always greeted by the chef with a warm smile and he would take mom walking outside when we could not be there. There’s always something meaningful happening music, visitors, therapy dogs, spiritual days, and so much more. When my mom passed we could not have asked for a more compassionate experience, the way the escorted her with a prayer was totally beautiful. I will be going back just to visit the staff, the residence and other families we came to love."

"We didn't like Ecumen Centennial House. I saw people who had super high needs. They have like a pod of four rooms. If my dad was sick, I think he would have been great there, but he didn't need that high of nursing care. The staff was good. They're all amazing. The room was just one room and you could only fit a bed in there and maybe a little couch. It was very small. It was not the kind of room that my dad would need. I went through that one fairly quickly and that's why I ended up in the other one. It was well maintained. The dining room was nice. For what it was, they were great."

"We found Ecumen Lakeview Commons. We were very happy with the number of activities that are available for the residents and it was just nice and clean, and it just seemed very well managed. The activities director we spoke with and the marketing person were very helpful and answered all our questions. And the room that we picked out is very nice and competitive pricing with other facilities that we looked at. We knew some people that are in there or had been in there, and the feedback we got from those folks was always very good. So we think it's a good place. We were provided a typical menu so we could see what kind of offerings they have, and it looked very good."

"Suite Living of Burnsville was absolutely perfect in every way. I would give it a five all the way around. My husband didn't like it because he said it was too lonely, meaning it's very quiet. There aren't a lot of people. I'm going to move in there whenever I need it. It's absolutely wonderful and well taken care of. The facility is very new. They had a lot of activities and many choices. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It would be really easy to have family members visit. They're just amazing. I saw the menu, and I was watching them set things up. They seemed well presented. They had a variety of different types of food."

"I have nothing but great things to say about the Lodge at Summit oaks in Burnsville. My mother is a resident there and has been for two years. I or my family members visit almost daily. Mom is well cared for and well treated by the entire staff. Our family would be lost with out them.
