The Lodge on Summit Oaks

I work for an outside company and I visit patients at The Lodge. Patients have no activities, outings, or entertainment. Food ranges from boxed meals, to whatever aides and nurses make. Personal cares lack, the house is not clean, staff is undertrained and clients have had items stolen, and money missing. When this was brought up, staff and clients who raised concerns were kicked out, fired, or had the cops called on them. Doctors orders are not followed, handled appropriately, so many reasons to keep your loved ones out of this place. Mine never ever would be put here.

For the love of God , please do not put someone you love there. My mother was not cared for well there.

My father was at the Lodge and had nothing but excellent care and service. The staff were so competent and compassionate - it felt just like home - and I couldn't have wanted any better care for my Dad than what he received from the staff at the Lodge on Summit Oaks!

The Lodge has shown my mother wonderful care since she admitted months ago. She is so happy with the nurses and gets wonderful care. She calls me almost every day and has usually comments on the staff. Now, every now and then there are issues, but the issues she brings up are easily solved and the staff are very responsive if I tell them about it. The last issue my mom had was when the nurse kept knocking on the door while she was trying to watch a movie to see if she needed anything. Not a big issue, in my opinion. I would recommend this place to anyone I know looking for an intimate setting for their mother or father.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Lodge at Summit oaks in Burnsville. My mother is a resident there and has been for two years. I or my family members visit almost daily. Mom is well cared for and well treated by the entire staff. Our family would be lost with out them. Food always available and prompt, staff sits and visits with the residents, I will be the first to encourage any family looking for care for their parent or relative to check them out.
